I think Asian girls should be more comfortable with their natural features and just go with it instead of trying to make their eyes look unnaturally humongous or plucking their eyebrows into oblivion. There's grooming and then there's just pure slap!

I agree. I don't use too much make-up, but I don't really pay much attention to magazines and make-up advice because most of it is for white people. When it is tailored to Asians, they are usually focusing on those that have single lids and not double lids that meet the eye at the inner corner like myself. Even when they are focusing on Asians/Eurasians that have double lids, my eyes and eyebrows are just so different from theirs that the make-up they have would just look ridiculous on me even though we both have the same eyelids. I need to have more than just two eyelids in common with the model for it to look somewhat nice on me.

Those are some great pictures! I have asian eyes too, but no crease at all so in order to put eyeliner on my top lid I have to apply it all over the lids, so when I close my eyes it looks like this:


I dont like how it looks like that but when I open my eyes it looks like this:

Looks nicer but doing this everyday can be time consuming and tiring and boring lol. I need to try some of those looks. Anymore pics?? I'd like to see more if you girls have any.

^ i agree too, as long as i didn't over do it, it look really good on me (as a advice from a Chinese girl) but i dunno wut kind of colour look good on me (espresso hair, light brown eyes, pale/porcelainskin) >.<

p.s. i found that a lot of hip eye makeup tips right now is to put light shimmery shadow on a lower lash line, did anyone try this before?
