Makeup Tutorial (sort of)

Here is my usual makeup routine, but unfortunately,
it's been a busy month so havent work any makeup at all.
It feels weird but good to put it back on.
Step One: Have a clean slate, well, face makeup sans eye makeup.

Step Two: Curl the lashes, i use a revlon one, then mascara!
Covergirl, Lash Exact, but make sure its the waterproof one.
It keeps the curl intact and doesnt weigh it down.

oh yea, make sure not to blink for a second or two. lol.

 I had to wash my face after that mascara incident.
HELLO UNDEREYE CIRCLES! anyone have a helpful suggestion
to get rid of them? haha.

Next, is to fill in the brow if you have sparse brows like i.
My fave is the rimmel eyebrow pencil in dark brown (never black!!)
Make sure its light and wispy strokes, never too much pressure.

Anyway, eyeliner. i like physicians formula eye definer in brown.
i have incredibly sensitive eyes, so its best for that.
IMG_0286.jpg

i start at the end of the eye, and i sweep the eye liner towards the middle.
ive been wearing makeup since about age 12, thats eight years.
so ive had a lot of practice.
slightly smudge it a bit so its not too defined.

i usually tend to pull the eyelid sideways so its a smooth transfer onto the lids.
IMG_0293.jpg

and yes, theres still more. i tend to get smudged eyes, so i use extra eye
powder to keep the defined liner dry.
IMG_0294.jpg

using similar colors in shadows and an small angled brush, go over the liner.
IMG_0295.jpg

and there you go, natural looking liner.

sorry that was so long.
hope it helps someone out there though,
ask me any questions you would like.

You're so pretty malina s..I kinda have the same probleme as you, but I just don't blink

Thank you both Loonaka and Decemeber_25! i have my dads bulging scary eyes. hahha. i have to tame them with makeup...

i suggest mac fluid line and a super pointing brush from sephora in a synthetic hairs, so that it can handle the gel of the mac liner.

does anyone knows how to bleach eyebrows at home? i just want it to be like a dark to medium brown shade.

ive done bleach before, its okay at times but it can go orange very easily. i suggest just using box hair color thats ash. my natural eyebrows are soft black but i have thick hair so its super stubborn. dark warm blonde made a subtle change for me, i think that shade looks good with light brown hair which is what i had at the time. im med-dark blonde now so i had to use medium warm blonde for eyebrows, it matches perfectly.

^I see. I guess i will just get tinted next time i go salon to fix my brow >.<

There are some nice asian eye makeup tips on youtube. My favorite is ahanabarbie I think thats how you spell it. She has makeup tips and hair tips that are very helpful.

you are such a doll cottonshrinks, perfect skin! I love your makeup!

You're so pretty, cottonshrinks!

Unrelated, but I just found out about this huge phase in Asia of "ulzzangs," translated in Korean it literally means "best face." They sorta seem like the US equivalent of scenesters. There is a very obvious and typical trend of black contact lenses, spikey fake eyelashes, eyelid glue, and lots of photoshop to make their eyes huge and round.

Most of them look pretty scary to me. They look like they're trying to look like anime cartoons.
