Seems strange to see a cool looking fashion ad from Balenciaga after all this time. Is cool making a comeback? I hope so... (I thought the collection was hopeless, but I guess I´ll have to warm up now.) Hope they keep M&M and loose Fabien Baron for good.

eh i quite like it, even that wig works with the rest of the shot.
I prefer Sims for Balenciaga than Meisel still.
The only thing that bothers me is that logo, why?!?

First ad of the season that manages to grab my attention and hold it for a while.. I think Gisele looks incredible and it doesn't surprise me, she's always projected Balenciaga's seasonal mood to perfection.. unlike more official muses such as Jennifer Connelly. I also like how they managed to make a very dull collection look interesting and how they attached the entire concept so tightly that it doesn't leave you wondering like the show did, this just has all the eccentricities and emphasis on shapes of the late 60s in the right doses.. it's a bit disconcerting to look at and that alone makes enough sense..

@ the hair, unlike Raquel's Hugo Boss wig, I don't think this one would even make the Kim Zolciak cut.

Kudos to Gisele for her searing eye contact in the first picture.

I like the vest in the first picture, and I think that I like the overall styling in the second one but I need to see a larger photo.

AWFUL. It looks like a poor-mans take on Cindy Sherman's photography; Yuri and Gisele remind me of Jurgen and Cindy in his Marc Jacobs campaign.

I cannot express how much I hate this aesthetic for Balenciaga. Why couldn't they have chosen a streamlined and modern aesthetic? This does not feel modern at all, which is generally the case with most Balenciaga campaigns. This feels very dated and I just don't understand how this idea fits with the collection.

Bring back David Sims!

Well, the origami thing is the most eyecatching for me i can't stop watching it. Though i don't think it's a bad campaign, but has nothing to do with the theme.

I love it as well. The first shot is so 2001 and it's hard to believe that's Gisele in the second shot. I'll take that as a good thing - it's refreshing to see her being styled differently for once.

To be honest I'd have to see it in a magazine, in it's entirety. I mean I was sort of iffy about the Marc Jacobs campaign but when I saw it in W with the white page on the other side I was pleased. There are too many things missing here for me to make a decision but I will say Yuri is one of my fave models and that watch Gisele has on sends me every time... So I'll just wait till the other images come out. Hopefully they'll bridge the gap betwixt these two.

Very, very nice...I'm always still skeptical to see Gisele associated with high fashion. But she really pulls this off, she still has that edge.

well, i don't know what to think. i love gisele's shot and this wig does actually look good on her however, i must say that it's indeed very I&V-esque.
i couldn't get the concept yet, let's wait and see.
