Absolutely LOVE it!
Everything from Emma to the clothes looks great!
Young, classy, brit.

I loved Gemma's campaign for Burberry a few years ago.....can't remember which season.

Mee loveed very modern to Burberry i like so much

what's the point of designing nice clothes are you're not going to advertise it. the pulls from the collection are hideous and so generic. :yuk:

because the crowd that comes to burberry for prorsum and christopher bailey isn't really all that swayed by advertising. they're reaching for that mass market crowd. they'll court the prorsum customer in other ways...

^^ Like many of the pictures, it's simple but efficient... but again, she looks too young.

Very boring. her expression hardly changes. She suits Burberry, but she'd be better for the Blue or Black labels than the mainline.

I don't mind them as a set of ads. I don't love, love them. I like Emma, I think she's a good choice for a Burberry girl, but I think I liked how she looked in the AW09 campaign more.

Her brother, to me, is quite a good model choice for London/Brit, although perhaps not for Prorsum as much. I get what Bailey's doing however... I think the use of such young models, and such a young look to the whole campaign is to pretty simply get the younger people in. The typical Burberry woman isn't someone who goes to Burberry because Emma Watson looks amazing in a Burberry dress. She goes to Burberry because it's Burberry, and she'd be going there no matter what the ad campaign was I'd imagine. I think it's simply to attract the younger demographic in general, as I don't believe they stand to alienate loyal Burberry customers by doing such young campaigns.

I love everything about this campaign
It's modern and simple, yet glamorous and attractive in some kind of way
Love all the twisted pieces, but where are my beloved bling bling sequined trenches? They were the BEST pieces of the entire show
I don't know why people are complaining here,we're not talking about Mcqueen,Burberry still needs to sell things

CHRISTOPHER BAILEY has enlisted the help of a familiar team - including Mario Testino and campaign star Emma Watson - for Burberry's spring/summer 2010 campaign images. And this time has also included the Harry Potter star's brother in the shoot.
"For the new campaign we wanted this kind of very eclectic but cool crowd of people," Bailey revealed. "The energy of the images and the dynamic cast reflect the different attitudes and expressions of the Burberry guy and girl. We've worked again with Emma Watson who has a classic, effortless beauty and is incredibly talented. Alongside Emma we have four British guys; Emma's younger brother Alex Watson, Matt Gilmour, Max Hurd and George Craig."
The images feature pieces from across the Burberry range; Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London, and Burberry Brit - and show Watson in more sophisticated looks than autumn/winter's relaxed outdoor shots.
"We always talk about how much fun we have making these images and I wanted to capture some of the excitement that you feel on set when all these different creative attitudes and personalities come together," Bailey went on. "Mario has shot these as both stills and video so we can share some of that energy with a wider audience."
