I did like it. It's definitely an improvement compared to his last few collections.
It feels a bit fresher, even though the codes he established for the house are still here. I noticed that he tried to offer something new with that round red coat and the round shortened cape, I appreciated that.
The metallic touches work really well (way better than on the mens collection). They bring some fun to the collection. I particularly liked the use of metallic on the pointy wedges, which were fantastic.
My favorite part was definitely the peacock coat. Thought I would share a short description of it, from Burberry.com "An artisanal trench coat with iridescent peacock plumage rosettes, crafted using couture techniques. Each feather is hand placed and then stitched into a geometric floral design. The coat is finished with a rich satin collar and heritage-influenced epaulettes, cuff straps and belt". Absolutely stunning.
Kudos to whoever took care of the hair and makeup. The girls looked particularly beautiful.
