oh,we really called it 'carrot jeans' in hk .teens here are all wearing this 'carrot jeans' last year.i think the levi's one looks quite nice.Just wonder why this trend will go to the western countries...becoz in my opinion ,this kind of jeans are really very uncomfortable.I prefer skinny or straight legged jeans ,they fit well n look nicer on girls.
they wont be too easy to market for girls but somehow i can see them getting huge with guys
regarding shoes, for girls they should look fine with heels only..
i can see them with thin sole wedges or uber short ankle boots
i think these are a really interesting and cute idea. but as with many cute and interesting ideas, i feel like these are going to be very hard for most people to pull off. but if worn correctly by the right person, they could look fantastic!
these are ok, but since the crotch is usually lowered, it makes a person look REALLY REALLY stumpy. the guys here have been wearing them for some time now... i wouldnt be surprised if they were actually on their way out now...
I tried some Levis on a few days ago. They are cool, but I don't think I able to pull them off. Besides they make me look like a dwarf. I might do a "Susie" and take a pic of them the next time I'm in town though
I have vintage jodphurs-y pants like this. They are pretty extreme. Everyone laughs at me when I wear them but I love it (the trousers and the laughter!)
I just can't stand these for women at all. I used to remember in the Japanese streetstyle thread that sometimes I thought the guys looked cool in them but they are very hard to pull off imo! They look horrible on most women, I think... an exaggeration of the very part of most women's bodies that they hate.
I wasn't too sure about these, but I saw one of the SA's in All Saints wearing a pair yesterday with woven leather flats and a white tee, it looked really really nice, but definitely a look not everyone can pull off.
