Catherine, Princess of Wales (Kate Middleton)

I actually really like the blue dress in post 9-- it's feels quite different for her in terms of certain details but also very typically Kate in others.

Oh, she looks stunning in that blue gown! She seems so happy and cute playing with the children and is obviously trying to dress for the local culture, which is sweet and respectful. So far I think she and her stylist(s?) are doing a great job.

I especially like the day dress in photo 15; the style is appropriate and the fabric, print and color elevate the look.

That blue gown reminds me of Maxima's coronation gown. I like it. I'm not sure about Kate's first look -- I need to see HQ pics -- but I love the cricket dress and the reception gown.

that blue gown is so frumpy and aging. its something someone twice her age should wear. That red suit is just ugly.

the only decent thing so far is the prairie dress

wedges while playing cricket? surely she has nude flats or something?
There is always something off about her outfits, for me no matter what she wears it looks frumpy and dull and it almost always involves her shoe choice or hair styling.

Indeed. I don't get the wedges, makes no sense at all.
No comments about her shoes choices in general...

The blue dress itself is very beautiful and the color looks great on Kate, but as someone said, it does ages her, looks matronly and heavy.

why is she so often styled to look way older and dowdier than she is?
that dress and those pumps in #21 for example are horrendous.
i wish she dressed better because she's very beautiful.
the gown above is quite pretty - better than her day-wear anyhow...

I think I read that this last look is actually a beaded crop top and skirt...if so, unusual for Kate! I think she looks really nice. Not sure about the chest pockets on the Emilia Wickstead dress, but otherwise it's cute.

I wish Kate would weigh down her skirts. For the tour, it's a forgivable mistake. But now, she's a seasoned dignitary who has down several tours. There's absolutely NO reason, when she's there as an official representative of her country, on a diplomatic visit, she should have to hold dresses down because if she doesn't, her undies will flash the crowds.

And, I'm not a prude. I get that wind affects women's skirts everywhere. But most women don't have access to high fashion (where those little details such as skirt weights can be build into clothes) or are serving in important positions for their countries on goodwill tours, when the wind upends their skirts.

But that complaint aside, I did like her day 2 fashion choices. Her pink day dress from yesterday was made by an Indian designer, and I hope we get to see her in Indian designer for a night event.

She wears maxi and midi dresses really well, but that Temperley green foam lace dress is very matronly in its cut. I love the colour on her, but not much else.
