Chanel F/W 09.10 Paris

This is a GREAT collection, very Chanel.. but pushing the boundaries, and something for everyone..

i love the print bodysuits and tights, very wearable and recognizably Chanel, they will be everywhere editorially, love the Rodarte inspired dress on Siri, the suits are amazing.. i think the green is very clever commercially, for Chanel die hard customers, everyone will know that they have the suit from this season as the green is very distinctive, if customers want one that is forever classic Chanel, they can buy one of the black or black and white ones

Not everything here is that horrid. I don't like the pink or green, the tacky way the bags are displayed, or the weird full body suits? The more classic black and white looks are lovely though.

Nothing inspiring but to cut Karl some slack I do think he does a very good job at keeping these collections very 'Chanel' and I think it caters well to the Chanel customer. However I must admit I hate the green and I hate the knitwear, that said I do like the second half of the collection better than the first.

I always cut Karl slack because: He is a proven genius; he has an overall great track record and doing upwards of ten collections a year, most involving 50-70 exits, there will be some clunkers! But overall, he is brilliant...!

it's boring as a tv-shopping-show in the morning when you spent a night out w***ed ... have you ever lived this moment ? this what chanel does on you ...

but take what he offers ... just go through it very quickly ...

i really think i'm the only one who can see the potential of this super-ridiculous green-mint-tweed-suit ...

Seeing the whole collection again, I quite like it. Most of the black classic ensembles are beautiful and I don't mind green, I like the shade.
But I absolutely hate those printed body suits and the pink part. And that pink thing on Lara is probably the worst Chanel piece in a few seasons...

Thank god the collection is so long. There's something for everyone because of it. Also because it's such a large collection there is enough good stuff to balance the horrid stuff. But j*sus, when this collection has a bad moment, it's bad! The green, and pink must go, now. That barbie accessories set thingy must go too. The hats should be burned immediately. And lastly Karl should personally pay for every model who had to wear one of those pink jumpsuit tribal marking things!

The bad in this collection won't even allow me to speak about the good yet. However, by this time next week I'll probably be going on and on about the great in this.

How disappointing. I always look for Karl for some perhaps boring and reppetitive, but deffinitely GREAT pieces as opposed to a bunch of hit and misses with some over the top UGLY outfits parading down the runway.

Props for trying something new and unexpected? I dunno.

chanel defitanely saved paris this season... well for me atleast! it's all TOO GORGEOUS! i swear, waking up and looking at this thread while heading to school defitanely made my day. it's tooo gorgeous! i LOVE the pink looks! it's all very chanel! and the green! ugh sooo chic! is it me or is anyone getting that vibe from the collection karl did that was filmed for signe chanel? from the makeup to the setting...i'm getting a similar vibe kinda

Wow.......just when I thought Chanel couldnt get any tackier, Karl manages to outdo himself and produce another pile of rubbish.
Everything is so messy. The prints on those leggings on Anja are soooooo ugly, who the hell wants to look like that?
The shoes are probably some of the worst Ive ever seen.
But I DO like those first 4 dresses with the really low cute neckline, thats the first ounce of sexiness Ive ever seen in Chanel.
Overall, its another boring collection from a boring man........someone hand me a glass of orange juice.
