Chanel S/S 2015 Paris

The skill, craftsmanship and message (of the show) is solid. But the colors were too all over the place, whenever Karl introduces an element that he thinks is young (in this particular collection) it feels very forced and a very "old-school" approach to how younger women are dressing. The colors are terrible and look muddy (when you mix vibrant, almost tropical colors with muted tweed- it looks like mush).

The remaining half of the collection is pretty solid and consistent. Hope Karl can up the ante next collection. Was really hopping to see some integration of his previous couture collection into this rtw collection.
