She bought off a brown preloved paddy ebay 6870309165
but wasnt so sure of its authencity. she asked me for help

I know i'm a little late, but i've finally decided i want a paddy (either tan or black), and was wondering if all you experts could tell me if they're still available? I'm not sure whether it was a permanent or limited line/colour. Think i'll get it in paris when i go in a couple of months if so (and if they'll be available). Otherwise, any ideas on where to get one? Thanks in advance!

I'm sorry, this is a fake. First of all, the price is ridiculously low for an authentic paddy, the leather is all off, and the color is neither the actual chocolate brown, nor the mousse color which is greenish.

My friend just got an amazing fake from NYC.

Its so realistic. The padlock is the same size, and very heavy so it doesnt feel cheap. The leather is as soft as butter.

It's probably the best fake I've ever seen. And she only paid like $40

oh thats too bad! I think she was fooled because of all those
receipts and the fact that loaf styles are not copied so frequently.

has anyone bought a paddington from styledrops.com? I'm looking at the light blue paddington, but not sure if the site is safe and authentic. thank you

I've heard that site is legit, they just tend to charge an arm and a leg. BUT they do have a decent price on the light blue paddy - probably trying to close it out or it's a return. Since it's probably the only light blue still avail online you might try it, knowing you can return it if needed.

^^ Actually I see a blue claire just came available today on luisaviaroma.com. You can bet it's a return, but you could save several hundred if you like it. If not, you could lose several hundred to return depending where you're from....

chic -- The pictures are real but those pictures are from achloe boutique, I've seen them posted here before, so you know those wont be the bags you will be getting. They could be real, but I'd be careful, you shuld ask for a picture of the actual bag you will reiceve.

It could be legit, but unless this is from a liscensed retailer I wouldn't do it. Stock pictures and 50% deposit sounds fishy.

i would definitely check out luisaviaroma.com because they constantly have a good assortment of paddies available in different colors. i would also try calling around to chloe boutiques and neiman stores.

here's the update of the cheap chloes.. i'm still uncertain.. here's what the sales lady "Mary Perry" says

I submitted my pre-orders last week but due to Easter holiday, it wasn’t processed yet by my supplier so I can still add your order. If I submit payment by Thursday, my supplier can ship mid next week (24 and 25 are public holidays in Italy – National Liberation day) and should reach Sydney by week of 1st May (including customs clearance).

Please see attached picture. This is the only clear image sent to me. In most cases, my supplier only take one image of one model, and available colours and model numbers are just listed down. Unfortunately, they don’t take as much pictures to show details of the bag as Model numbers and colour references are standard for any particular season collection.

Jacobsgirl, those pictures look good to me, but what information do you have on the bag? Is it used? (There appears to be a bit of wear showing, which is fine, I think, for a gently used bag.) Where did the buyer get the bag? Does she have any tags?
