Hi, I am a new Chloe Paddington obsesser. Right now I'm debating on whether to get the paddington in taupe or dove. I just can't decide! Has anyone seen these colors in person, especially the dove? Is it more of a grayish tone than blue? From the pictures I've seen of the mousse color, it seems very light bluish. I would really love to have a paddington that is the most versatile color so I can use it in all seasons. I actually contemplated ordering them both just to see in person which I liked better!

Also, would it be better to buy from LVR or NAP (shipping to the US)?

What are the current opinions out there on the new mini paddingtons?

Welcome to the obsession! I haven't seen the taupe IRL but I saw the mousse last week at Saks for the first time and I just swooned. It is REALLY gorgeous and I think totally neutral. It is much more on the green/gray side with just a hint of blue. The stitching is a light beige which looks fab with the color of the leather. I can't think of a color I wouldn't wear it with - it would stand out with any color. Plus, I really loved the vintage-y silver hardware. If I didn't already have 2 - or if I could sell my cream (I keep debating this in my mind) - I'd buy the mousse in a heartbeat! Good luck with you decision!

Im starting to like the mousse colour aswell.. I called Chloe boutique in London 10 mins ago and they have it there and the taupe colour.. Im getting really eager to get a mousse one aswell!!

i was jus tlike you confused and eager to get one! i was debating over the chcoolate and the cream!!! and i couldnt decide which to get, but now ive got the cream! its a lovely color and matches withe eveything, brown is more vintage and i thought of LV so i got cream, its moer young, trendy and sophiscated. BUT it gets easy SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO easily!! just never EVER wear new jeans while carrying the handbag!! good lcuK!

this finally arrived today, after much wrangling with customs... i looove it!!!

boy is it heavy! i've heard all about its weight but it's something else to heft it yourself

sooo pretty... sooo!!!
i keep looking over at it, it really is lovely, soo much nicer than in pics! it's got lovely the pebbled leather i couldn't see in the pic, but have always loved..

and it's way more spacious than i thought it would be. whew! i'm gonna lug this everywhere!

poor mammab! They're beautiful! Though I'm still not a fan of the pocket.. it just looks too bulky to me! That choco tote is a whole other world of beautiful though!

I have a Taupe Paddy and was very much in the same position as you before I bought it! (though I was also considering the Whiskey and the Blanc and the choco.. so it's amazing I even made a decision in the end!) I do like my taupe very much, though I think perhaps I should've gone for the chocolate because the taupe is a little plain (but oh so versatile!). But I'm definitely glad I didn't get the mousse because there's just something special about gold chloe hardware to me! Ultimately I think you need to base some of your decision on that, whether you're a gold or silver girl

Keep us posted on what you decide, as both colours are pretty in their own way.

Btw where did you get your paddy from. The colour looks like from previous season.

mammab - I'm not a big fan of the pocket paddy. If you must choose one then go for the choc tote.

Thanks madem0iselle, I really do like the cream! I made a pact with myself that every year (after bonus being next week! yay haha) I will treat myself to a Chloe bag.. Im so glad i dont use my credit cards no more otherwise i wouldnt hesitate to get 1 or 2 or 3 right now!

mammab - they are both soooo delish!! the 2 colours i wanted too! I love the cream, but i must agree with everyone about the front pockets.
I hope it dont cause you too much stress choosing, i thought i only loved the brown and cream, now im starting to learn to love the mousse aswell!! nuts!

mammab - gorgeous bags! I've been eyeing the tote ever since I saw it on LVR. But there was talk of it looking too boxy earlier on in this thread. Do find it boxy when you wear it? And is it a lot heavier than the regular paddy?

Hi SoCal I couldn't agree more -- they are both lovely in different ways, this is my big dilemma. Big, big big dilemma.

Edna -- I thought the same thing -- bag looked too boxy when seeing pictures but it's really not. Once you put all of your things in it, it slouches and looks very complementary when worn. I just love it.
