okay, can someone help?..is there a difference between Paddington Tote Bag (at NAP for 1860.00 USD in Dark Grey)

and the Large Leather Paddington Bag(at NAP for 1910.00 in Grey)

I have no idea, but this is by far, my favorite style!! I Have it in chocolate brown and can't get enough of it. Here are some pix.

does anyone know if the locks on the black paddy and the taupe paddy are the same?
i recently bought a replacement lock off ebay but i suspect it to be fake as it shines.. but the seller claimed that there are different types of gold locks.. but when i compare it to the lock on my taupe paddy its alot shinier and lighter.. are there really different types of gold locks? and are the ones on the black different from the ones on the taupe?

iagree with the fakes i don't mind the fact that Chloe produces too much its more the "fakes" people are toting around, specially if they think tis real O_O

I think here is Australia its not SO overexposed because its hard to grab hold of them here only in very few boutiques or online!

cutie_j i vote for the edith! (never been a fan plus i heard it was impracticle) or the silverado! (if it was a python I wouldn't suggest it for sale)

another thing to consider is that the internet/magazines/celeb gossip & paparazzi etc. might make a style seem hot, ubiquitous, and then played out but the ppl in your city & circle might not be on the same trend cycle schedule.

i haven't seen *that* many paddies IRL yet.

It is on ebay auction with no reserve which I find hard to believe - so the price is currenty less than $500.

Also I had to ask for these pics, as the ones on the auction were from Net-a-Porter or similar.

So my thinking is that even if the one in the above pics are real - its probably not the one I'd get sent. Although there is a 7 day refund.

I am so pissed!!!!! I just bought NOT ONE...but TWO (because I couldnt decide if I wanted the ivory or an everyday black) fake paddingtons from Bluefly!!!! I have been a customer for about 5 years now and have had wonderful experiences with their Fendi bags...and have bought so many pairs of shoes from them its ridiculous!!!...but in my eyes they have gone from reputable to crap in the amount of time that it took for me to open the box!!!! When I opened it the leather was harder then I remembered it when trying one on at a boutique...and then i started to inspect it...and a tell-tale sign that i had a fake was that the 6 digit serial number on the inside of the zip pocket was small and didnt cover the whole tag!!! I don't do fakes...they arent my thing...I especially refuse to pay $1200 for one! I got it yesterday...and it goes back today!!! Before I send it back...I might take pics of it to show you guys! Im just disappointed that my first post had to be like this! :'-(

hey mammab, that choco bag is gorgeous! yep, i have to agree that, even though it's heavy, i like the paddington tote/shoppers styles the best.

i did find an older post explaining that there are two large bags with slightly different dimensions and prices.(will search again)

I called Chloe and the SA said there are two different bags...one is called the shopper and it is shaped more like a lap top $1,910 (17.5x12x6.5) and there is the tote priced at $1720 17x10x9. Styledrops has one for $1,929 would anyone know which bag this is and has anyone bought from this website?

which size is your chocolate..do you know if they're still available online anywhere in either style? I've only seen the grey and dark grey(NAP...but the dark grey is gone again), ivory(NM and or Bergdorf?), black and whisky(Aloha Rag).

either way, i love the look of both... there's more to the bags, so it's not all abt the slouch and the padlock. more practical too(2 kids here). I haven't seen one of these IRL yet! so perhaps it's the least trendy/on the downside the least popular? lol. at least we wont see ourselves coming and going.B)

my replacement grey one arrived from NAP today & i think i will keep it after all. i guess it was fate that the last bag one had a defective padlock because i like the leather texture on this one so much better. it's more pebbly-wrinkled and the last one was too smooth for my tastes. will post pics soon. yay!

IM sorry to hear, but i did hear a lot of rumors gonig around that bluefly is selling fake chloe, its quite surprsing since i thought all their deisgnerclothes are authtntic and shoes like louboutins, manolos, gisseupe etc. but i have doubts about it now. maybe their clotehsa are authetic but some bags are fake. you should def reutrn it and id love to see pictures of them. Ill take some pictures of my paddingtons and show you guys the serial numver
