I agree with mademoiselle... seems everyone have it and Chloe have produced too much

I thinking of selling it too... is a really nice bag.
Especially I have the colour "craie" and the leather is so soft.
I don't know... I'll miss the bag after I sell it. Hard decision

LOL! That's quite true Emma. It's too much of a hassle to get to and open. I like the Edith but something about this particular bag made me want to purchase it.

BTW, I just purchased a slate front pocket paddy. I really love it, the size, the color and the price. I got it at a Chloe private sale, so it was worth every penny

i carry my grey paddy hobo everywhere as it's the perfect size for my work stuff, but it seems sad that paddys seem passe now, or is it me?

i love mine, but i wonder what the bag with the most currency is now, out of curiosity (i probably wouldn't like it as i'm not into wearing gold-tones).

Question: i am behind the times. is the LONG paddington a new bag for fall? or has this been out for some time?

i saw different colors of these at my local intermix and liked them a lot.

^Long paddington..are you referring to the N-S or E-W direction?
Not too sure which style you are referring to and it's hard to comment if there are no pictures.
(P.S. I haven't been keeping up with the paddington for quite sometime too )

Victoria Beckham | Chloe Paddington Bag at ASOS

Asos is selling what's supposecd to be a real Chloe Paddington for £795. Why the heck would Chloe want their bags to be sold on Asos?

A girl I know from another forum told me she ordered what was supposed to be a real CC Skye bracelet from Asos, but all she got was a cheap copy worth £6 (she payed a lot more) in a CC Skye box (She got this one: Woven Chain Wristband at ASOS )

The picture of the bracelet was of a real one. Is the picture of the Chloe Paddington real?

Until I heared about this I thought Asos was a serious webpage, they did have a lot og inspired bags and dresses, but they never wrote that it was something else than is was.

I wrote an email to Asos and asked if it was authentic, if they got the bags direct from Chloe and if the pictures was the same bag as the one you'd get if you order one. If anyone's interested I will post the answer when and if I get one.

This is what Asos writes about the bag:

I saw the paddys on ASOS as well and was really surprised because usually they only sell designer inspired products except for some brand name items like Seven jeans etc. But I don't think they would sell fake bags being advertised as authentic when they could also sell them as designer inspired items.
ingvildel, maybe ASOS confused the two bracelets of your friend? Did she ever complain and got a refund? She could also just have returned it for a full refund. I don't think they did it on purpose though.
I order from them every once in a while and never had any problems. However, the bags are sold out now.

Velony, I should have mentioned this when I wrote my first post, but yes - she did get her money back. I was surprised that they didn't offer her a real one though, but maybe they just sold out. Anyway, shouldn't the real ones come in their boxes, and not separate? But the main thing was that it was not supposed to happen.

Anyway, I got an answer from Asos already:

"I can confirm that the Chloe Paddington Bag as seen on Victoria Beckham, is a genuine Chloe bag. If the item was not the exact bag it would state that it was in the style of Chloe."

I'm not sure what to belive (but they wouldn't lie about such a thing, would they?), why would Chloe authorize this? It cheapens the Paddy and makes it unexlucive! Well, at least their customer service is fast at replying, however, they did not answer all my questions.

^Hmm..if you read their reply carefully, they did not in anyway, state in black and white and without ambiguity that the bag sold on their site (asos) is authentic Chloe.
Plus the fact that they did not answer all your questions, makes me really skeptical about the Paddingtons on their site.

You are right, she wasn't very clear about it. I wonder if I should answer the e-mail and ask my other questions again, or if I just should leave it...

Btw, I posted this at TPF as well, and someone thought they might be selling the same bags as Bluefly did... In that case, they might think the bags are real

i stained my paddington.. does anyone know how to get rid of it? i went to chloe and they said that chloe doesn't recommend any leather cleaners..
