jenn, you can try clear (natural) shoe polish. Rub a small amount with a clean dry soft cloth. That is how I clean all my bags since a chanel SA recommended it to me.

I just had a small sharpie stain on mine, I freaked out a bit but I tried the apple suede and nubuck cleaner and it completly took it out

I fell in love with the whiskey Paddington I saw at Saks recently...but I'm wondering, are these a dead trend now? I don't care that they're not an "it" bag anymore but I don't want to buy a wornout trend. Do you think the Paddingtons are a classic enough style to last? What do you think when you see someone carrying a Paddington these days?

I still have mine in my handbag rotation. I still love it. Since Chloe has made so many variations of the Paddington, I think it'll be around for awhile. They keep making them in different colors each season. Could be like the Balenciagas. They've been around for years, just changes the colors.

I can't speak for the other batches, but I got mine from the original batch.
I think the leather is excellent and it gets better and better with age.
It is thick, a little wrinkly but it's getting more and more supple and soft.
I love its vintage vibe - though I agree the paddy is overexposed, mine is aging better and better every day

I just got my first paddy. I have been eyeing those for forever but had to wait for a good deal on ebay to save some money. It may not be a classic style but I will still wear my bag for ages. It's very practical also as it can be worn over the shoulder. And Chloe is bringing the style back with new different colors each season so I think it's still selling well.

I just purchased my first Chloe Paddington, too! I absolutely love the texture of the leather and the color (muscade). I love that it looks aged and "broken in". After seeing posts and pictures of them over the past year, it really grew on me so I decided to take the plunge and am so glad that I did! After carrying heavy MJ bags, the weight does not bother me. The only problem I have is in keeping the zippers zipped. I wish it had a zipper stop so that it wouldn't come unzipped. Congrats, Barbara! I'd love to see a pic of your paddy in muscade. I'll post a pic of my bleu nuit one later as well. Btw, I have experienced the same problem with the zippers not staying zipped. I was also wondering why there is no stopper. Would be much easier to zip and unzip that way.

I wasn't into these bags last year but I was watching Laguna Beach and Kydra was carrying this GORGEOUS large black chloe and i was like I MUST have that bag! It was so fab. I love the way it dips down in the middle. I'm planning on getting my first one off of ebay 2005 collection ($875?) or aloha rag($1300). If I get it from Aloha rag, Im paying around an extra $500 to be worry free but I'm sure this seller isn't a scammer.

But more about the collection. I want the matching sandals and the matching boots...oh goodness! I am planning to read through this whole thread eventually. Right now I'm loving it and I want a paddy so bad! I'm at page 30/561. Hopefully by the time I reach the end I'll have my first baby

I noticed that as well that there is the metallic aubergine paddy with silver hardware for 50% off on nap right now. If I didn't just buy one I'd really consider it.
I can only recommend you to get one. I love love love mine and have been carrying almost every day. I especially like the shape and the softness and slouchiness of the leather. My bag is from 2005 as well.
I do have the matching boots but I had them long before I even got my bag. Now I can wear them together.

I quite liek the colour! But tend to stay away from metallics for such a expensive bag! If you have the moeny I would get it! It is oh so very tempting but I still have one I used quite often !!

I still love it Although i don't scraem at my bf anymore if he accidentally knocks it off my bed....

I used to threaten him lol

Hi, where can I find this cleaner? Id practically pass out if I got a sharpie stain on one of my bags. haha Have you ever gotten any of your bags treated?? Like at the shoe shop? I remember someone mentioned having gotten their white gucci boston treated, and the stains (pen, scuffs, etc) just rub off.

Velony.. I really like that there is no zipper stop as I can open it up so easily.. it does take a minute to zip up but it's like the Balenciaga City with easy access.
