Coloured tights

Thanks everyone. I love the idea of wearing the orange dress with grey & I remembered earlier I also have a grey pair of tights. Ill try that look for sure!

I really love the orange/yellow tights & the orange/purple tights the way Pucci showed it but they have colored shoes & I just have black so Im sure that wouldnt look as good. I do have deep blue patent boots but that would just be crazy lol.
 
OR if you are feeling brave try pink and orange like chloe did ! :D

i tried looking back a bit in this thread, so if it's been asked already, i apologize. what are the best tights for a very opaque look? a pet-peeve of mine is when the tights are sheer in the least bit. are wolford tights worth the investment if i'm looking for really opaque tights? how do the "hue" tights compare?

i'm really loving this look. i usually stick with neutrals, but the colored ones are so much fun. not sure about the jester tights though-- overkill.

just got back from new york and was so happy to see all the nice messages :heart:
i had a great time when i wore the dress this weekend ^_^

i also wore yellow tight with light brown wedge boots and a hunter green long-sleeved cottom dress from american apparel..
it was a fun outfit... no pics but i am sure i will wear some sort of variation again and will try to take pics next time.. :wink:

my mom bought me 5 pairs of new tights this weekend.. :lol:
she came into my room bearing gifts a little while ago..
she got me some of the more muted colors - navy blues/chocolate brwns/greys.. :heart:
they'll be a nice alternative to some of the brighter colors I got and will be easier to incorporate into my work wardrobe.. which i great...

i'm excited about all the new potential outfits..

and tiffany that's such a great dress!
there are so many ways that you can wear it with colored tights..
please share pics with us when you get around to wearing it!

those jester tights are just tooo much :doh:

have a look at this thread from the accessories section...
it's an old thread but a lot of the info remains the same and it has some good ideas and resources...

as you can see...LOTS of our stylish tFS-ers have been doing this long before it went global...:wink:

my post on the first page pretty much says everything that i think and i haven't changed my mind...

dkny and hue are great dept store brands...
but if you can afford wolford or fogal...you won't be sorry...
i have a bunch of different ones but almost all are the above...

This thread is really great-- I went crazy this weekend and bought 10 pairs of tights- most of them colored.

FYI DKNY were 25% off at Nordstrom over the weekend.

today at Target i picked up some lovely royal blue opaque tights. my current pair are stretched out and fuzzy around the calves from being worn with various boots. :shock:

I happen to like hue, and I hate sheer tights also. I have a pair of thick knit (if thats even how to describe them) brown tights that I wear in winter and I also have a pair of dark heather grey, and a pair of pink-purple ones that arent sheer at all. Ive had them for years, but I think there are probably still similar styles.

that is SO upsetting to me when that happens to a favourite pair...:doh:

Im heading to Targets soon for a few colors... do you remember what colors they had?

I didn't think to check when i was on the site earlier and i see that you're in chicago so i figured i'd just ask you :P

royal blue, teal, dark orange, red, and i think brown, grey, and a darkish red. there could be more i can't exactly remember..:doh:
