I love all of those looks, but my fav's are the gold and that last look, kind of rust red. I'm having a hard time finding gold/yellow's that I like.

i recently bought 3 pair of maggie's organic cotton tights (moss green, chocolate, textured plum) and they are absolute heaven... so soft and comfy and warm, and they are gusseted. i'm never buying tights without the crotch/butt gussets again...

has anyone ever tried the eg smith tights? they look really good... i like the space dyed ones:

I think I posted about the E.G. Smith ones a bit back . . . I really like them, and they are warmer than nylon tights and very comfortable (and they have the bottom gussets).

BUT sometimes I have a problem with fabric creep (especially if I'm wearing lighter cotton skirts with them), as in I think my skirts tend to migrate up my leg a bit more, than with the nylon mix or even wool tights.

Someone help me pick what colored tights I could wear with this dress. It's for a dinner party 2 days before Christmas...and also I'm not sure what color heels to wear yet.

I was planning on wearing black tights and black heels, but I'm afraid it'll look too dull.

I'm thinking either a dark red, dark purple, or a cranberry color.

I just went thru the entire thread. Lots of great photos and ideas. Tiffany, I didn't realize you posted a picture of the orange dress. It's really cute. THe one picture that gave me the most inspiration is this yellow dress with the grey tights, that Softgrey originally posted. I am so challenged with yellow's, yet it's a good color for me. I this look

i've got a grey dress that i wore last weekend with red tights, and i think it would like great paired with purple tights like the two girls above have done.. very cool

I wore a grey woolly dress with purple tights a couple of day ago. I think it's a very good look, go for it!

Fussing around with blue and purple....

Sometimes I'll wear other bright colored clothing with bold tights, but I was in more of a drab mood. Well, as drab a mood as electric blue tights will allow .

The outer two outfits are (obviously ) the same, but I couldn't decide between red shoes or taupe shoes! I like them both....

And for anyone wondering, the blue tights are from alloy.com and the purple are from welovecolors.com.

SnowBunny, here's a few looks with blue. I think grey's, gold & browns all work well. If you go with a red, a dark red like a rust color may be best.

Oops, it looked blue on my screen. I would go with the burgandy w/black.
