I like welovecolors, but I bought the tights in tall (because I am), and they feel big. I wonder if washing them will shrink them at all

i dont like the ones from AA...too see-through for my taste
Yeah, I agree. When I wear coloured tights, I like my legs to look just like pillars of colour! I don't want any of my skin to show through. I normally buy 80 deniers from www.tabio.co.uk, but today, my auntie gave me a pair of deep red 110 deniers that she'd bought me from there for Christmas! I look forward to seeing how they look and feel

yeah but i just size up and theyre not see through anymore, but then again im pretty short (5'2).
I love wearing brightly colored tights, despite any season. I only regret that they weren't popular back when I was a kid, then I would have been able to be totally chic in my school uniform.
Personally, I dress very demurely. My closet consists of blacks, grays, browns, taupes and other very muted colors. But with the colored tights it makes my outfit very fun and balanced, without being over the top. Right now I own a small collection of tights, including fuchsia (pink), steel blue, purple, and a pair of mustard yellow ones with the vertical lines going down them. I also have opaque gray, which I love dearly.
I think the tights are best worn with dresses, skirts, and shorts. I really don't understand why women wear them with tunics or large shirts -- they're not trousers!
Thanks ChrissyM. Wearing muted colors to me are just really safe. That's why I think the extremely bold colors look best when worn as minimal and as subtle as possible.your wardrobe sounds like it strikes the perfect balance with the colored tights..
wearing them with muted colors definitely makes things easy in terms of matching and not going over the top..
That's a good thing. There are so many girls where I live that actually wear the tights as trousers. Meaning absolutely no bottom piece whatsoever.whenever i wear large shirts i wear shorts underneath...never 'just' leggins/tights...
I was given a tiny sack dress from one of my friends and decided to wear my tights with it, but the dress was too short (I'm tall) and ended up fitting like a loose blouse. I considered wearing it as is, but am thankful now that I decided to wear shorts w/ it, because it looked so much better.
