^ i don't think that she looks terrible all of the time. and i think her snotty attitude adds to her somewhat charm. personal opinion, is all! but i don't know what she was thinking when she dressed for the gala. it looks horrible, horrible, horrible.

The only thing that keeps Kimora from the top of my "Please get them out of the world of fashion" list (along with Naomi Campbell) is Karl's inexplicable liking for her...That is the only positive thing about her, IMO...

I am a little disappointed that no one wore rodarte. There dresses are perfect for this event.

of course this is only my opinion, but i feel as if nothing could be zac and kate mara last night. they stole the show! also, i'm a huge, huge, huge, HUGE fan of ashley olsen's look. anja rubik surprised me too, pulling off the no eyebrow look and such. i think coco and anja looked great together in their pictures as well. as far as most unique dress, caroline's was quite surprising. despite the unforgiving make-up, i think the dress suits the event quite well! michelle trachtenberg... or however you spell her last name... was looking very well put together. pleasant surprise. i have yet to see everyone though. i am pro-holmes bob though.

My Top 3 Best/Worst Dressed.


Best:

1. Camilla Belle: Simply Beautiful.
2. Janet Jackson: She looked slammin'
3. Kate Bosworth: Usually a dress so busy would make me think of splattered paint but there was just something so endearing about the look as a whole & Holy Shoes Batman!

Honrable Mention ~ Donatella Versace: She looked great. I mean it's D.V. we all know she'll rock her hair in that saturated piss colored shade and her tan will be overly baked but I loved the dress & cincher.


Worst:

1. Kimora Lee Simmons = Need I say more?
2. Piper Perabo: H.A.M. aka Hot A** Mess.
3: Kristin Davis: Are you kidding me? Just No!

Honorable Mentions: Christina Ricci. She followed the theme and thats beautiful but I still didn't like it. But I applaud her for going there- especially when so many opted or rather tried for cute and ended up looking confused.

Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen: Yes MK looked the worst out of the two but to me Ashley didn't look so hot her darn self.

Eva Mendes Ugh!


The Nice but Safe Crew:

Beyonce: I thought Beyonce looked surprisingly nice. Glad to know someone took the bedazzler from Mama Knowles.

Jennifer Lopez: She's very overrated to me in general but she looked good.

Emmy Rossum: I actually really liked the dress but ehh she's very yawn inducing.

Dita Von Tesse: For me Dita rarely does wrong but while she looked cute I expected so much more.


With the guests who showed up I expected so much more. There weren't enough people who seemed to follow the theme not that following it would make me love the looks (*ahem* Christina Ricci) but still this was the night to go all out and just have fun with it. Kudos to those who did.

I loved Ash too though, even though she didn't make a huge effort. She looks effortlessly chic.

Wow. Just saw Dr. Lisa Airan's outfit in her thread, and I am in total shock, because she wore exactly what I would have worn, right down to the shoes. Needless to say, she now wins my vote for best dressed.

Does anyone else think that the Rodarte dresses had little impact on the red carpet?... At least in the pictures. I don't know what it is...

I don't think Airan looked good in Rodarte, her coloring is a little too swarthy for the etherealness of the gown.
