Denim That Fits Like Crap !!!

Miss Sixty seems to cut their jeans super long and super small... i go up at least one size in their brand.

Best brand to make you feel good about yourself- Abercrombie jeans run on the large size (ironically the opposite can be said about their underwear and shirts)
I don't think Miss Sixty is that small. I think I'm normally a 26. But I got one pair of Miss Sixty's (with stretch) and that's a 24..

Overweight, middle-aged, conformist Joe Ordinary has the highest effective demand for jeans (or any other basic non-essential consumer good) so any mainstream firm is going to be out of business if they don't cater to his needs.
I don't think you know the brands that where listed here very well, there made for much young fit people in general.

I know them well enought to know that none of them sell my waist-size anywhere in Europe or online, thank you very much.

 The way you worded this post is very funny!

Though I must add that I have a large bottum compared to the rest of me and Chip and Pepper fit me very well.

I think that sometimes with jeans you either get luck or you dont. When they have to be tight, stretchy, loose and faded in all the right spots in order for them to be perfect.
Like I said, sorry if it came out sounding rude but it could possibly be the shape of the body and butt area.

I know that for a white girl I have a very full round "ghetto" booty. I'm proud of it and I find that the PDC jeans fit me like a glove. Other jean brands assume that if you have a big butt you must have big hips and waist. Its not cool. I used to have the problem of being too skinny and tall. WHen I'd shop for jeans to be the correct length, the company would assume that longer size meant you weighed more.

And I do find that Miss Sixy jeans are made too small. If your a size 26 you usually have to go to a size 28. I don't like that.

My experience recently has been that no maker that I've tried has anything approaching consistency in their sizing. I think my "true" size is 30 or 31, but lately I seem to fit anything from a 28 to 32, and I can vary two sizes from the same maker. I have given up on buying anything that I can't try on first.

I think that the designers should make a universal size.
A size 5 with one company will be the exact same size 5 for other companies!

I find unworn jeans to always fit a little snugg at the store. Once you start wearing them a bit they tend to strentch in all the right places.

Usually I buy jeans that are tigher than tight ..and cut my hip bones..I force myself to wear them on a regular basis for a month..and after the initial month they've usually given in, stopped cutting my hip bones and molded into a perfect fit..but boy is that first month bad.

I love my RRL jeans. They really do fit very well. I was pleasantly surprised, especially for how little I spent on them.
how long have you had them? at 5+ years now mine are finally broken in but stayed cool-ly tough denim for a long time. Its a much heavier denim than any levis or any other brand Ive seen made in years. when you see pics of elvis presley or marlon brando in the 50s it looks like that thick denim and cut and color. they have faded slightly after 5+ years of occasional washing but are still as dark blue as a typical pair of blue jeans youd find/buy now.
I bought them at the former polo sport store on madison ave/72nd they were in a special display case area behind glass called 'vintage denim'.
it said on the tag they were based on levi's that were authentic 40s/50s that ralph found & copied exactly in cut fabric weight etc.
I wish i bouight them in black too, not sure if those were made in black.
by comparison even though levis do eventually shrink to fit your body somewhat, the ralph RRL vintages fit much better all over and better as years go on. while there is some expected fading at knees and maybe at very bottom cuff hem, they actually have stayed quite dark blue after a lot of wearing and some washing. the toughness of the denim is the coolest thing, they are seriously heavier weight although now soft after 5+ years. My levi's 501s & 505's didnt age the same way the denim feels thinner and didnt mold as well as the RRL's

So... I tried on a couple different pairs of jeans at the mall and I have to say that I was extremely dissapointed in the following brands.

- Paper Denim and Cloth

- Blue Cult

- Sacred Blue

- Chip and Pepper

- Rock and Republic

All these brands had horrible cuts. They sat way too high up on the waist, and the pockets did not flatter my ***. Paper denims also had a crappy cut to its flare which started about 3/4 up the knee.

This just goes to show you what hype and a little bit of advertising can do. Avoid the nasty denim at all costs.
Rock and republic definitley flatter my ***...

white??

who makes the best straight leg white jeans? slim fit?? price no object I need them.

I'm pear-shaped with ample thighs (though my bum is small) but haven't had any luck with PDCs. Every pair I've ever tried on has been 100% cotton, though, so that might explain (I need to have stretch in my jeans, otherwise they just won't fit my body type).

My favorite higher-end jeans are Earls in a cotton-poly blend (I think it's about 60% cotton, 40% polyester, but I can't remember the exact ratio off the top of my head). Cheaper brands that fit me well are (moving down the price point line) Mavi, Gap, and Old Navy.

If you got hips and a butt usually you have to for Miss Sixty..

One thing I hate about Miss Sixty its made for like a tall tall woman or I must be really really short but I have to always alter it:unsure:

it's all about the ***, or lack of it. no *** = some jeans wont fit nicely = most likely the case but i still love you type thing

My *** is plump and round and papers actually fit me beautifully... I've found surprisingly that energie jeans fit pretty damn nice too... same with AG (Especially "The Hero"), firetrap, nudie, and levis premium

I love MAVI and GAP jeans. Gap is the only company that makes the damn leg long enough for me!

I'm sooo sick of Seven's and Citizens they're everywhere!! I hate most things low rise, *unless* you have enough style and the body type to actually really pull it off, low rise jean+high rise thong is such a nasty look. I'm really loving my vintage Levi's right now, I got a pair of diesels that I've been sporting lately I really hate high end designer jeans, my wallet always always falls out of the back pocket. I only like nice thick heavy denim.

Hanne, when I was a kid (LONG ago), we'd buy jeans one size too small, soak them in cold water, and wear them until they were dry. Gives perfect, PERFECT fit. Besides, it was kind of a macho Rite of Passage at the time!
