Dolce & Gabbana F/W 09.10 : Edita, Heidi & Mariacarla by Steven Klein

im in LOVE. for reals. hah. omfg and edita with mariacarla! they could've lost heidi though..

Looks fantastic, i mean the clothes are insane, but even so, they sort of work in these ads and of course you ALWAYS get your money's worth with a model like MCB!

LOVE this!!!! my favourite campaign this season so far :P

Wow, MCB actually makes the campy surreal details of this collection look chic...

actually i'm quite surprised by how Heidi looks. actually she's fantastic in these (and, frankly, i've never been the girl's fan).
anyway, i think the whole casino scene is quite logical. it reminds me of these retired gray-haired ladies who spend their lonely days and nights in Las Vegas casinos trying to make their mundane life any justice.
this Dolce&Gabbana collection, totally out of the context, self-indulgent and somehow ridiculous, has the same vibe of good old absurd to me. too much time and cash - all for nothing.

I  this!!

The vegas mafia/boxers for the men's campaign was awful, but their spoiled vegas wives.. awesome.. they look lovely

All 3 girls look fantastic (even Heidi who I'm slowly warming towards).
MCB of course hits it out of the park, she just dominates
And the set could have looked really tacky BUT by making it hazy/faded the clothes really pop so IMO it works

I agree with everyone, Anna should have been instead of Heidi. But Edita () and Mariacarla look fantastic.

I agree. I do actually like Heidi but she's a bit of a random here and I would've loved to see Anna J. MCB is owning thiiiiiiiiiiiis. B)

If this isn't proof enough that Steven Klein needs to go, then I don't know what is.

First of all, I agree with those who say the casino idea is confusing. Why are they in an abandoned casino?

But what annoys me most about this campaign is the awful blue tinge. Its like blue neon lights or something and it looks AWFUL.

^ But the blue tinge is what is always shown in Steven Klein's pics. I don't like it either.

It reminds me "Ocean's thirteen" (without ten) in 3D. I like the concept. Collection is funny and where can you have more fun than in Vegas?!
Heidi's like a stranger here. I guess she's too blue blood from Chanel and now can't just have a good time in Vegas.
MCB absoulutely has a cruel plan and will throw up Heidi&Edita:shifty: If there's Anna, she could resist Mariacarla:wink:
At last this campaign isn't unusual:( Since ss 2008 girls look the same-their eyes, poses. Dolce&Gabbana must GO ON. But f/w has some machination or story, which you can feel. Or try to imagine...

I love this, so pretty and MCB looks amazing.
Happy to see Edita too.

Well, I like it better than I've liked any recent D&G ads, that's for sure. Maybe because the clothes are just so ridiculous, as is the coloring and the set. They're entertaining shots, to say the least.

But I couldn't begin to guess the connection that Monroe, Schiaparelli and Vegas have with each other.

MCB owns, dominates, conquers this as always. Edita and Heidi look great too. I like the overall boldness and use of vices of the casino although I don't know what it has to do with the collection.

One thing I noticed though, in this shot, what happened to the thing (maybe a clutch) Edita is holding in her right hand? Bad photoshopping skills?

I'm not impressed and I don't like the concept and the outfits. The models look good though.

She's holding playing cards.
