Hey Luna,

The pen marks are dark blue. I have tried a baby wipe (gentle start), my Apple Care Cleaner (no luck there). Then T&D told me to try pure alcohol so I tried that very cautiously with a cotton bud..... No luck there either. I tried it once more this morning and the colour just started to lift off onto the cotton bud so I quickly stopped and left it.

I know EB was made a while back.... I think at the end of 2008 from reading the thread? Am I right? I think the ink marks have been there for months so are dried deep into the leather. I think I need the A Team on this one..?!

I'm so sad about it....

why are they sending out faulty bags? if the pen marks are so apparent, don't they see them when they're packing up the bag to be shipped? sorry, but this really annoys me. i hope something is figured out, danger!

ugggggh...... I had paid for a City Regular Hardware (have the PayPal e-mail receipt saved), but I guess I didn't pay close attention when I got the email weeks ago that said, "Payment received for Amethyst Work GSH"


Just my luck. I have the tracking and it's in NY, almost at me. I really hope that It is what I originally paid for and their email to me was a mistake. How did I not notice that e-mail heading until NOW?

Thank you Bal Bear. They're good with these things. if I paid $212 for a city, and they sent me a GSH work, they'd be loosing out- and they are businessmen and I figured that wouldn't happen.

I agree with baby_yorkie and MaLena that the color looks like auth amethyst but also know (like MaLena stated) seeing IRL will be the best way to judge.

Wang experts needed!

I've been eyeing Catty's and Jacky's Donna hobos for a while now. Since there are lots and lots of variations in the authentic, it's hard to know if such a style was ever made. In most pics I've seen the rim of the little zippered "pouches" in the front are supposed to be thin suede. Catty and Jacky's obviously aren't.

Does anyone know if this makes their reps off or were the real ever made this way???

Yay! I said just a couple of days ago that I wished Catty sold AW, and now she does! I'm about to make my first order with her now Will of course post my pics when I've recieved the goodies.

And I'm excited for the AWang bags in the new colors.. I wish Jacky would make a white version of the Brenda bag. I'm soo leaning towards the beige or black one right now.. I'm gonna get it for sure just so hard to decide

I've decided to buy a black AW Brenda from Catty, will post my pics once I recieve it, maybe it'll be so gorgeous that you forget about the beige, or something

misspisc- yeah im considering one of the wang bags from jacky too, maybe beige becaue i have so many black vintage Chanel clutches i thought a change would be good.... what did you order from jacky last time? i'v ordered twice and loved everything iv recieved.

I'm going for the black one, since I'm in need of a black evening bag. But that washed grey one is reaaaaally hot too!

When I ordered from Jacky the last time, I recieved two flawed bags: a purple covered Balenciaga City and a Prada gauffre flap bag. Both were nice looking on first impression, but later on I discovered rips and bad alignments... I also ordered a LV Wish for my mother, which had small dents and stuff all over. Didn't photograph that one though. The Bal and Prada can be viewed here and here. My biggest problem with Jacky wasn't that the items were flawed, but the fact that he said there were 'no problems' with the items once he had recieved my return, so I had to pay the return shipping and he didn't want to give me any credit. Oh well, I can do my business elsewhere now B)

I must add, though, that two things in that Jacky-order turned out nice. The Nightingale, which I loooove but am considering selling because it's a bit too large for everyday-use, and an LV wallet.

I think previous posts by members guessing that J and Catty use some of the same factories is correct. Not ALL of their items are the same (I wouldn't buy Chanel from anyone but Jacky), but with certain designers, I think they have the same items.

I too am pretty sure this is the case. A good example is the AW Brenda bag (others have also posted and pointed this out) for which Jacky and Catty even use the exact same pictures....

Well I have been know to be a bit of a "wang" expert myself but that's a completely different story! ...........
misspisc, about the Balenciaga you got from Jacky, do you have any NBF bags and if so, how did you feel the leather on Jacky's compared? I have a bal from him that I got several years ago and while the leather looks soft and smooshy it is a bit stiffer once you touch it. It hangs/drapes nicely I think because it is in fact distressed and you wouldn't know it wasn't super soft unless you touched it. From afar, the leather at least might pass. I remember touching the auths at Holt Renfrew and the leather was like paper. I only ask this because although I am most definitely not a bal girl (although I appreciate how beautiful all of your bags are, ladies) I have mentioned before that I would be interested in a mid day in a Navy, Raisin or Pearl-ish type colour. I am not too concerned with it being perfect and would consider getting one from any seller. It is the kind of bag that is often "inspired" and since there are no visible outside markings (like LV mono) one would maybe not necessarily think it's a rep. (hope that all made sense)

She uses EMS like T&D, it's usually 5-7 business days.
