Hi Ladies,

I would love the flat clutch too, but I have some reservations.. The flat clutch is pretty big (8.5"H x 11.5"L approximately) and since T&D's leather seems to be very soft n slouchy, do you think the flat clutch will turn out slouchy too? It won't be good for the shape of the clutch if the leather is too soft/slouchy (the clutch will not hold its shape, KWIM?)

SMKelly, how much are they charging now, if I may know?

While I wasn't the one initiating the order, it was my understanding that a birkin or kelly was $500USD for the "regular" leather. FYI.

a flat clutch is almost a size of a FIRST, and No, it wont hold its shape, which i personally prefer + it has a twist strap.
however, im not a clutch person and i only have 2 clutch myself. 1 is very soft (thomas wylde skull clutch) and a juicy couture clutch (kinda stuctured). so im not really sure which is more comfortable.
can you explain why would you prefer more structure clutch? im totally want to learn.

Oh what I mean is that, for example, looking at baby_yorkie's pictures, when the clutch is hanging from the wrist, it still holds its shape nicely. I am a little worried that if the clutch is made too thin, light and slouchy, the clutch won't hang as nicely as the auth picture. Or the clutch might fold too easily when carried and will not look nice when you put stuff inside.. I dont know if Im making any sense here again

On another note, I'm waiting for my auth flat clutch to arrive anytime will let you know how the structure is..

This is a very coveted bag, but I would honestly not shell out 800$ for it. I am thinking of asking Jacky to make it. But obviously he'd need a few requests to make it. Anyone would be down for it so I can send him a list of girls interested?

I'd personally love to get one in black, especially if it's soft leather.

i know what you mean shopaholic...
my favorite balenciaga clutch is the pochette, which they still make but is hard to find...
it has the same leather as all the other bals, but the sides are more structured so it doesn't slouch as much...

Im new to TPF but i have been following your thread since last May, hope you dont mind me reading, im so excited to get an invite, thanks K, i've been looking at Jackys site and noticed that some of his Birkin pics are the same as some of the ones on 86handbags.com, are they both run by Jacky, i thought he took all his own pics.

I cant make up my mind about what to order from him, thinking of a black 40 Birkin with gold h/w, a gold 40cm with silver h/w and a couple of his Hermes leather bracelets, but i cant stop looking at the Chanel jumbo pics so i was considering substituting the gold Birkin for a Jumbo in Black but cant decide

I already have 3 rep Birkins and an LV, the LV came from 6star, one of the Birkins came from Catty, one from SRbags and one from Redcarpetbagz but dont think they are in business any more.


Anyway, just wanted to say Hello and i hope to get to know you all properly.

TD said they will make that flat cluch if they have 10 girls prepaid. i think we have some interested, but not enough to make. we can make a list for that again.

Baby_yorkie: I'm in for a giant flat clutch! so I suppose T&D's price for flat clutchs would be a little bit cheaper since there's no handles or shoulder straps to be make? do they come in giant hardware only or in RH as well??
