i'm a bit more worried with the leather itself. the leather on the most recent Chanel he put up (vintage zipper, XL, and 2886) look shiny and not so 'leathery'?? i'm not good in distinguishing between leather and pleather just by looking at the pictures (unless it's so obvious) so can anyone comment on it. i hope everything turns out well with the vintage xl..

On another note, I just bought Deluxe: How Luxury Lost Its Lustre tonight and I am going to rip into it as soon as I log off. I know what it's about of course, and nothing about the luxury goods industry surprises me, but I know the book will be extremely informative, entertaining and I'm sure a real eye-opener!

That book is great! Makes you feel a lot less guilty about buying reps!

i got four wallets from catty with the covered hw and the perfo. the leather is actually very pretty, veiny and soft. for the price, i recommend them fully. just be VERY clear about the style you want. send her pics of the inside.
