There is NO perfect Chanel, but his are certainly "passable" as long as you stick with classic flaps or even the newer zipper tops - in BLACK, stay away from metallics which he does not get correct.

MIZZZZZZ....what about J's metallic silver reissue 2159 (jumbo size) compare to 228?

And about the Miumiu sughero bow, I asked J's about the old pebbled leather version and gave him the pictures i posted a while ago, he replied "i think they are the same" And i want the amethyst bbag, but why J's making the Giant hardware with only single 'leather rope' in handle and color is wrong too..

Hi ladies!

It's so lovely to check in; I'm CONSTANTLY reading this (and other Ioffer) threads here, just rarely contributing.

I was hoping someone could PM me Jacky's website/contact info? I already have Catty's..I actually ordered from her, almost a year ago, two bags and a wallet. I ordered s mono Galliera and a mono Stephen as well as a mono Eugenie wallet..I have to say, I was a little disappointed.

While all three LOOK like dead ringers for the real thing, there were some disheartening differences. The wallet is made of such soft 'leather' that it doesn't quite feel authentic. The Galliera PM's shoulder strap isn't cut the right way, it keeps slipping off the shoulder (and the auth one doesnt, I'm told). As for the Stephen, it can't seem to get soft! I don't carry it around quite so often because it's a BIG bag, but it's pretty boxy, and the handles are quite small (shouldn't they be bigger than the handles of a speedy?). Finally, the strap of the Stephen broke...twice. The amber-colored links on it are plastic, and the snapped off with the weight of the heavy bag. Needless to say, a disappointment; I wanted the Stephen because of its great strap.

Now, I think I'd like to venture to Jacky to peruse and maybe end up with a Miu Miu Bow Satchel. I'm still a little weary on quality though..so any advice from those who have already purchased would be great.

Ok I'm really liking J's maxi. I may get it instead of the vintage. Regarding the locks on J's bags, Chanel has MANY styles/variations of bags and many past bags have had DIFFERENT (sized)locks than this season's. So I don't think his bags are as off as we thought. Just MHO.

So, Catty's grafitti GM is the best I've found (thanks baby_yorkie!). I'm thinking I need it. I didn't ask if it glows under blacklight because I really don't care about that part.....unless there are tpf'ers who stash a blacklight in their auth bag to check all possible fakes!!

agree but because the graffiti is too big. i'm sure you meant this. there should be less space between each row and another 1/2 a row at the top. i got graffiti obsessed when it came out. too bad nothing is perfect yet i still use my graffiti speedy from jacky even though its a little off. i've gotten tons of compliments (and some glares too... w/e gotta live with it.)
