...it really doesn't matter, bc the purse addicts like us usually know more than the SA's do...
So true, considering that most of them can't even afford to purchase the merchandise they're selling...^I think we can all relate to that. They really have no reason be snobby.
For some reason I get this alot, I'm not sure if its because I'm biracial but I must admit I think that has something to do with it. I remember one incident in Saks at the LV counter. I wanted to look at the Alma bag and I was being totally ignored. When my mom came over to the counter I guess they didn't realize we were together. They were falling all over themselves asking if they could show her anything. I casually walked over and said mom I don't think I want the bag after all. You should have seen those two b@#$*h's (one male and one female) mouths hit the floor. Of course, my mother was completely clueless as to why I was passing up an opportunity to get the bag. I never told her because I'm sure she would have hit the roof - but I got my satisfaction at seeing those two idiots behind the counter stand there like deer caught in headlights.

Yep, I carried jacky's gris mahina into TWO lv's...I'm so proud of myself. My heart was racing the whole time. and I got complimented on my gris by a lady that was carrying an auth black one. And one of the times in the LV store the sa complimented my bag saying how lucky I was to have gotten that color

It's not 'absolutely perfect" but it's pretty darn close. The only problem with a mahina is that it is a wee bit heavy, but otherwise if it's your style, go for it. and I got my SIL jacky's black one that she loves loves. I think the black one you would get away with even better, but that's usually the case for all reps.black is always better.

but the differences are so minor its so hard to tell even when comparing side by side
im totally in love with my sapphire

I wouldnt' want those snobby people to have the satisfaction of me buyng something there!

yes I have and the price is outrageous
Any advice appreciated. Going to treat myself to one of the new T&D bags. Just one. So I have to choose a colour and style but I am finding it so hard!
Immediate instinct is to go for the Apple Green City - it is so bright and cheerful and it will totally dress up a neutral outfit. However....
I used to jones over the seafoam twiggy and first back when that colour came out and it was just so covetable. The vert d'eau is so close and it would be a bit more neutral, won't take over an outfit and also will be so pretty in summer...
On a practical note, the turquoise would work so much better. It is the one that least jumps into my mind, but I have so much that it would go with. I have a load of blue earrings and accessories, scarves, coats etc cause blue is supposed to really suit me. I have the French Blue Day with the GGH (NBF) which is quite stand-out, but the turquoise city in the RH would really go with some stuff I have.
I don't really have anything in green in my wardrobe so the apple green would stand out on its own...
decisions, decisions...advice appreciated![]()

Apple green is lovely. But I would feel a bit weird somehow carrying a bag in that color..fashiongirl87 , I agree! That Marc Jacobs Big Heart bag is VERY Luella-esque. I think that's why I'm so attracted to the design. LOL and I, too, thought that it was some kind of limited-edition Marc Jacobs Valentines bag!
