jihanemo - catty stocks goyard. a few have said they are great, some have said they are so-so. for $60, i would be willing to give it a shot.

yup, T+D's color can vary a lot. i have a bubblegum city and a bubblegum day and the colors are different.

I think it is because all of Amethyst has been pre-ordered and sold out, they aint doin pics....

I am sooo jealous of everyone who got Argent... I'm crossing my fingers they still have some left. I know they said everything was preordered for Argent and Amethyst so I don't know...

Actually, my other first I brought into Holt Renfrew (where they sell Balenciaga bags here in Vancouver), to compare and it looks the same...someone working there even complimented it on the color

The lilac isn't awful, it's just that I have just gotten used to carrying the magenta one around since March so it's odd to be suddenly looking at one that's a much more subtle color...plus the leather on this one is a lot thicker...

When did Balenciaga originally issue this color, does anyone know? I had a look on line and it seems '03 and then '06, but none really looks that similar to what I've got...?

i think it's '06, which had more grey undertones than pink.

SAs compliments are welcome, but really do not mean much. people commonly switch and bait fake bags for returns and this goes unnoticed until a nutty bag lady buys the bag. not to say your other rep isn't good, i'm just stating common facts. HR SAs are probably the least trained in the world, actually. please post pics of your other rep if you can/have time. perhaps there's a contender for bal reps?

I know they don't send out preview photos to each buyer, it's just that sb always gets a pic and posts it on this thread. Anyways, what you're saying about preordered and sold-out items makes sense...

In the end, all that matters is the opinion of the girls who get their hands on the actual bag first, I'm always very excited when I read the first reviews by members of this board, especially good reviews

I did some research on this colour as I like it very much and I can say that this colour varied a lot. I will provide some pics to prove my point, all pics are from TPF.











I don't think such difference in colour could be due to different lighting. That's just the way the leather varied I guess.

I love all of these colours and also got the Lilac First from TnD. I like it a lot based on the pics posted by members here. I will be getting my hands on it in 9 days. Finally!

I think I would only wear a gorgeous designer dress in red, that's the only ensamble I like in red
