stylestar8, don't feel bad, please! I really appreciate you pointing out the colour differences. I'm quite a newbie to Balenciaga bags (only got into them this year) and where I live, I rarely see any Balenciaga bags being carried (only mostly LVs and Guccis).

I did a check on TPF (under the "Magenta Club" thread) and apart from the GSH City, I also saw GSH in PT style. Is yours work or PT style?

I'm just gonna carry the bag anyway. It is a beautiful, cheery colour and deserves to see the light of day. B)

seafoam will only available in RH, not sure if pewter RH or brass RH though

edit: 100% sure seafoam only available in pewter RH, not dark brass RH, as pic below shows...
i doubt T&D will order little amount of hw just for this color, but not hurt to try

Hi, may I know what gave it away? Was it the handles? I saw the photos too and thought the handles somewhat resembled the handles on my NBF Black City with GGH.

The handles. The leather. The fact that she only has works in colors that T&D has made and got them around the time/after T&D made them. Looking at some of her older posts I do think she has some auths but all of her more recent Works look like T&D to me.

to be exact, BAL made 3 magentas
05: pinkest RH only, no PT
07 (limited RH,GGH and GSH.city only (maybe first too, not sure), paler pink and little bit of purple
08: paler than 07 but no purple shade, RH, GSH,GGH, all style (including PT)

T&D had several runs for magenta, but some vary to be 05 and some to be limited magenta.
in my opinion, they got the amethyst quite right and i will say it is amethyst without a doubt to anyone (even those who own real amethyst).
you can say this T&D amethyst is either LE magenta or amethyst, but not 05 or 08 pale magenta.

T&D were out of the bag I pre-ordered so I settled for an GSH Anthra Brief instead of the GGH I wanted. I am kicking myself. It hasn't been shipped yet...wonder if I should switch it out for a different bag and just wait until they do more with GGH. I HAVE to have GGH. The pics they sent me of the Anthra with GGH were beautiful.

Also, if T&D can't do seafoam bc of the hardware I'd totally settle for brass RH pistachio...

I am definitely in for the Seafoam color in either a city or Part Time. I would love pewter hardware. Do you think that T&D could do pewter hardware?

oopsnow & coco109, the corner patch is that little piece of leather thats in the corner of your bags with the buckle...its held in place by two pieces of hardware. i had the corner patch fall off my mens day bag. T+D sent me a new patch and about 6 piece of extra hardware. but if the corner patch falls off my amethyst bag, im going to be sunk. its going to be hard to replace as T+D have run out of amethyst leather.

so seafoam can be made in first, city, work and weekender (these are style that T&D's making) and only in pewter regular hardware

lananbanana: You have a good eye. I have Authentic Bals and T&D reps.
I don't know that I would ever post my reps on the Purse Forum. There are no reps allowed there and one can be banned.

I tend to buy T&D reps of colors that Bal has already done which are no longer available. I will take either seafoam or Pistachio. Whatever you girls decide on, I am in. thanks
