I would love something in Chataigne or some type of Brown.
From Left to right the colors are Galet, Noix, Chataigne, Raisin and Tempete.
I would love something in Noix or Chatainge. Noix is kind of Taupy colored and
Chataigne looks like whiskey. Truly beautiful colors.

I love Tempete/Storm! I've heard the color varies from light to darker a bit. Might be tricky to replicate.

And yes Indigo was produced by Bal - it was an older color - 05 or 06? Kimair? I saved this pic to my comp as my absolute favourite blue ever. It's absolutely stunning.
That is until I saw a pic of the blue coming out for 2010 - that is even nicer than this I think. Take a look at Indigo:

If T&D decide to do Officier next I will definitely be out - all the pics I've seen have shown white veins all over the leather
But Marine is dark enough and yet light enough to still be a vivid blue - if that makes sense???
Please lets beg them to do Marine

Your Blue is definitely a lovely blue. So vivid and bright.
The new blue from Bal for Spring 2009 is called Outremer and there is a color
that is close to seafoam called papete. I love the Tomate which is a soft orange.

Is anyone in love with Tempete?? It's so dreamy, like a steely blue anthracite. Cool, crisp, enigmatic, and subtle.
Oh MAN I'm in love with Tempete!! I can't decide if I love it more with GGH or GSH...

YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does that answer your question? I'd prefer this over anthracite or plomb, actually - just didn't think anyone would be interested.

PinkPrincess: I adore the argent PT! It's so thick and soft and I love the color! And I really think that the PT is my favorite size. So happy to have it! Thanks!

I also love Tempete and I guess a lighter sort of icy blue....glacier blue, I think it is? Not sure, I'd have to go look. So a glimpse of a PT in that color and LOVED it as wintery color!

looking for info on marine...does anyone know how close this color is to officier?

shopaholic48: So sorry about you Day! I think the best idea is to get a longer screw from T&D and then take it to a cobbler. They really can fix anything. I've had bags repaired and be better than new! ITA with others that this IS T&D's mistake! But I fully understand why you'd rather fix it than send it back. So get it all fixed up and get a nice discount for your next bag!!

coco109: The handles on your PT look REALLY good! My amethyst's handles aren't that good. I can see a difference between NBF's and auth..but it's so slight that unless you're looking for it, it's not there. Thanks for the pics! I also LOVE the leather on this batch of bags! Both my amethyst and anthra have fantabulous leather!! I've been conditioning mine to remove the shine and soften it up. The stiffness is already gone and she slouches beautifully!

I can't do this ATM, but I think it'd be really helpful to post officer and marine pics so everyone can see the differences.

That Niox is absolutely gorgeous! I decided I need a bag in that color (have wanted one for years) but I'm going to get a Miu Miu or a Birkin or maybe even Chanel. I obv LOVE my bbags, but there are certain colors where I want a different look. I like candy colored bbags the most so for basic neutrals, I want something different.

thesiren: 100% agree with your post re shopaholic48's situation. It's NOT b*tchy, it's merely standing up for what you deserve. Great post.

uiggu: I think I may take the plunge and get an s*bag Birkin (for Christmas). I got some great info from thesiren and think that getting a Birkin from them as a trial would be great. If I love it, then I'll know it'd be worth it to get a pricier one from BS or OMAS. Thanks for posting the beautiful pics!!

Ok, I broke down and emailed TnD even (tho I know they can't confirm anything yet) and told them pls pls to bring in darker colours like TEMPETE!!!!! (i even attached one of the pictures you found mm07 hee, i hope you don't mind) in addition to earlier requests for anthracite and plomb. let's hope they do it!!!

bbs - get the birkin, get it! you deserve one - though are you sure you want to start off with (honestly, i have no idea about the differences in quality) one that you think may not be as good as omas or etc? What's the price difference?? Cos I see it like how we prefer to pay more for NBF than Catty's bbags for instance. Just playing devil's advocate here - don't want you to regret it. But I guess you can always bagswap it if you decide to move "up" hehehe.

Oh man, I'm so glad there are so many girls who want Tempete/Storm too! I think I've already told this to BBS in person but my favorite color is the color of storm-cloud laden, foreboding skies. The kind that swirl and creep and grow darker, stronger and more intense right before you eyes.
I love the calm before the storm--when the sun is still out, shining bright and warm and a crisp, cool wind starts to blow strong, whipping through your clothes and hair as the sky, as far as you can see, begins to swirl in various shades of dark blue, gun metal grey, silver, and black....

I would LOVE it if T&D could do Tempete for the next batch of colors. I'd also be over the moon for Marine, too

LOVE the way you described the calm before the storm...perfect imagery..they are so eerily foreboding but like you said, the crisp cool wind is something I always revel in as well....that being said, I'm a huge fan of storms too...be them in nature or on a bbag...

So I'm definitely in for Tempete if you guys need the numbers!!!

Okay, yeah, that "Street" I saw last week must have been Storm, but when I looked at the Bal website I was so sure that the colour-chart thingy said officier? They must be playing with me. Holt's only had I think three colours available anyway, the raisin, storm (maybe) and black. Or at least that I noticed. BTW the Street was $2075. No, maybe that was the price for the midday-I can't remember now. So, um, yeah, storm (tempete) is pretty nice but I really liked the raisin, and I especially liked the midday is raisin. Well it looks good in any colour. Have I mentioned before that I really like the midday? I do. I like the midday, it's my favourite. I think marine or navy or whatever colour it is wouldn't be that difficult for the boys to do. Like as far as dyeing the leather correctly. Hey you know what would look great? A navy or marine midday! I think you guys almost have me converted. It was funny because when I was looking at the bals, they seemed more appealing to me for some reason. I also noticed that the leather on the bags has changed quite a bit since I first picked one up 4-5 years ago when the leather was so thin it was like paper.

Where I live, storms come with with aggressive bolts of lightning and resounding thunder as well - which I love (when indoors of course ) and it actually calms me down to stare out while storms are taking place. So having a bag that reminds me of that WILL ROCK!!!!!!!!!

STORM OR TEMPETE!!!! Can you tell that I'm suffering a little shopping-withdrawal?

And weirdcatlady don't worry, we all went through that phase as well, but once you start work, the floodgates will open, and you'll feel all the better for it. But in the meanwhile, pls buy food over bags!!!! You can get to that soon enough, for now, enjoy the pretty bags you have already.
