Knitting!

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I'm so excited I stumbled across this! :D

fab- yes, I do felt them in the washing machine. Usually with hot water until they shrink to the size I want.

I have so many of these bags (and scarves) right now in almost every color, it's pretty silly!

Here are some things that I've passed the time with :innocent:

I mainly crochet, though.

i just finished another scarf for a friend, a very sculptural neck scarf in a bright, vibrant yellow. i attached a button to keep it closed.

i really hope she likes it!

yay! she likes it!

Thanks you guys!!!

I'm currently knitting extra long arm warmers. I love them. I was going to give them away, but like everything else I make, I'm going to end up keeping it for myself. :P

wow, i am AMAZED by the work that y'all have been doing here! i haven't visited much lately, and it's great to see this explosion of knitty things going on.

there are a bunch of great websites that id be happy to post links to, including the one about , which has been MOST helpful. i decided to start knitting continental (from the left hand) instead of enlish (from the right) and that took some serious reprogammingl. the videos have helped more than i could say.

- IDEA -
why not start a yahoo group, wher we could chat and post our pictures and resources and loinks and everything? if enough people are interested i'd be more than happy to set it up.

yay tfs knitters!

I"ve just started on a new scarf ^_^

Ahh almost famous I've made a pair of armwarmers before...it hasn't been cold enough to wear them since so roll on the winter, they're ribbed grey marl with a mint green ribbon weaved through the top and tied in a little bow.

it's so funny you should mention this meme because apparently i'm a left-handed knitter, i didn't realise it until i noticed that someone else knitted differently from me. i'm right-handed, but i learned from a left-handed person (i'm ambidextrous...i do a lot of things left-handed as well as right-handed, so it didn't seem weird to me)...why did you decide to go lefty?

i'm down with the yahoo group...i was thinking a blog, but i think a yahoo group would work better. only thing: do you have to have a yahoo account to become a member? but excellent idea..i'm so excited!

I've just been thinkin if it's possible to create tfs 'groups'??...A seperate section...where people can form their own groups with the permission of a mod (to stop ridiculous ones happening) I'm not sure how they'd just be different to the knitting thread though really...just a thought...if anyone could adapt on it? :flower:
