Okay, so you might have figured this out, but for anyone else who hasn't knitted cables before, I just wanna say that they are easier than you think, so there's really no need to be scared.

looks like wenlan chia/twinkle? very nice.

and once you get started with cable, you'll wonder what you ever worried about. it's a piece of cake.

i got the yarn today...it is so luscious the pattern for the sweater is a smidge confusing, though... i can't exactly telling whether or not i should be decreasing on certain rows

i'm glad to hear that cables aren't too bad. ,...but who knows, i'll probably find some way to mess them up

I'm a terrible knitter, I enjoy it hugely once in a while and I'm just decent at it but I've only ever finished to knit one sweater so far.
I keep starting new pieces ... have a whole drawer with meters of unfinished knitting
I'd LOVE to try cable too but I'm useless with written instructions or even illustrated; I only get the hang of it if someone shows me personally. I think I might hunt down one aunt or the other and ask them to show me how it's done

this is exactly what it looks like (sans "boobles"... i decided to not knit the bobbles cause considering they are literally the size of my boobs it would look weird )
