The entire apology sounds really insincere to me, basically it just reads as her being sorry she got caught and lost Rob. She should be equally apologetic for ruining Ross' life.

^Lainey might be biased in her reporting, but she also fully acknowledges her biases towards certain celebrities. I enjoy reading alot of her analyses on situations, as I find them to be quite perceptive.

i think that her not mentioning the wife in particular is not to pull more "homewrecker" rep and remind people he is married once again. i wouldn't be surprised if his family was actually mentioned in the first draft and her team just corrected that part before it going to people.com (hence the grammar mistake that is beyond comprehending).

Kristen Stewart isn't the only one expressing her anguish over her cheating scandal with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

"I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family," Sanders tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. "My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."

The British director, 41, is married to actress-model Liberty Ross, with whom he has two young children. Stewart, 22, has been in a relationship with her Twilight costar Robert Pattinson, 26, since they first met when filming nearly four years ago.

Ross – who yesterday Tweeted the Marilyn Monroe quote, "sometimes bad things fall apart so better things can fall together," before deleting her Twitter account – appeared as a young Stewart's mother in Huntsman.

I just didn't like the word "and". I definitely don't think she should have mentioned his wife.

Should have read, "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to everyone this has affected."

Also I didn't like the whiny plea to Rob.

She should have kept it professional.

that sounds terrible...didn't he think of the only thing he had when he went all crazy for Kristen...because to be honest...he seemed the active part in that meeting kissing her and all of that like a mad-man! and for goodness, he is not 22 - he is 41!!!!!

She issued a public apology for her actions. Poor thing. It's a terrible thing to hurt the person you love and to break up a family, but you do have to feel for her a tiny bit. She's young and this is the time in her life when she can be forgiven for being so stupid. What I will say is that this is a terrible way for her to confirm her relationship with Rob. To spend years avoiding any discussion about your personal life only to make such a public mistake and declare your love for the person is embarrassing.

I think it might be also due to the fact that she is trying to calm Rob and show him what he means to her as she probably didn't enough and now with the possibility of losing him after her betrayal she is trying it all, guess maybe he isn't even reachable to her atm...at least I would not take calls of my partner if I found out he cheated on me...
