According to the report this was a planned action. She got a call and drove to pick him up, she had time to realize what she was doing. Then she drove him to his house and parked three blocks away...
This was not imo a "heat of moment" situation.
We don´t even know if this has been going on for a while and just now they got caught...

I guess her apology proves that she and Rob were exclusive? it sounded desperate...

I just didn't like the word "and". I definitely don't think she should have mentioned his wife.

Should have read, "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to everyone this has affected."

Also I didn't like the whiny plea to Rob.

She should have kept it professional.

i can't believe she's still pulling this "momentary indiscretion" BS. you don't pick up the director of your previous movie, suddenly make out (heavily) in your car in broad daylight and sneak him back near his home and then drive home like nothing happened. this has affair written all over it. at least own up to that.

I agree, this wasn't the first time. And I also agree with whoever said that she doesn't that the vamp image of Angelina Jolie to really overcome this kind of scandal. We'll see how good her PR is, but I can't see any way that Rob can stay with her. He'll be seen as a cuckold and a romantic lead cannot be seen as a cuckold.

it's funny to me how suddenly she's this naive little 22 year old girl that doesn't have her hormones under control when usually everybody praises her for being wise beyond her years and oh so mature

I always thought Robert and her more of a buddy than bf/gf. Anyway, the pictures looked staged between her and the director, but I guess they were having an affair. Let's hope it was not one that was a prelude to her getting the role in the movie. Very embarassing and shameful on both of them, specially 41 yrs old married man who should know better. Her PR apology is equally awful, sometimes its best to remain silent and ride the controversy than write such pitiful words for the world to read. I worry for her career from the stand point that to some now she is fair game and thought off as silly girl who will have such public affair with a married director while she has yet to establish any long term career success beyond the tweeny Twilight movie.
