LUC-Label Under Construction *Luca Luarini

This is a thread for everything related to Luca Luarini's label under construction.

It is a label composed of mostly knits and Luca formerly worked at c diem.

The knit jackets are the best items in my opinion.

Overall the feeling is very organic and earthy, but he does incorporate some luxury fabrics into his knits.

I will post most of the S/S 05 collection following.

His clothing hangs on these pecuiliar hangers that spring up and down when you pick up/put down the items.

In my opinion his clothing exudes much more of an aura of nature and a feeling of "relaxation" than C diem.

Brian, Barneys experimented with carrying it 2 seasons ago then dropped it along with C diem. Maxfields seems to have dropped it only this season.

Your best best would be to mail-order from japan.

Would you like the emails of a couple places that stock the stuff, Brian?

This stuff's super expensive like Carpe Diem, etc., right?

This idea of an extremely minimalistic blazer is a hit with me.

Alex, in terms of prices it seems to be a lot more reasonable to me.

Knit Jackets are around $900 with them being --> 1600 for Lmaltieri
Long Knit Coats maybe hit the 1300-1500 line, but Lmaltieri is 2000+.

The pants and sweaters should also be markedly less expensive.

In addition it goes on sale every season.
