Model Behavior (PLEASE READ POST #1 BEFORE POSTING)

Well you never know. A lot of models who smoke are very paranoid about being caught on camera with cigarettes so they hide them or if they're shot with the cigarette they will ask photographers to delete the picture.

I think its okay to smoke. I'm indifferent when it comes to other people.

yea its ok like once in a month or just sometimes smoking a bit as long as its not a habit.

^^Actually it's been stated previously many times in her thread and the models who smoke thread that the picture was just a joke or mockery for the camera. I think people should find a picture of her actually smoking before pulling the "she's a smoker!" trigger though :-p

yes, i posted the vlada photo as a joke. i couldn't resist.

LOL, people actually do that? In my opinion it's gross (I'm not trying to offend anyone.) The smell bothers me and the nicotine on the hands is just  if you ask me. I like glowing skin and pretty nails B). I think teens think they will lose weight or suppress the appetite or whatever the purpose (and it doesn't calm nerves if you realize it's a slimulant) and then they grow up and if they know how to stop, they do.

Yeah, it's called being a social or casual smoker. Some people only smoke while drinking alcoholic beverages or coffee, etc.
Of all the people I know who started smoking in their teens (oh yeah, we travel in packs) not one of them picked up smoking because they thought they would lose weight or suppress their appetites. Statistically that's almost laughable. Peer pressure and social image, there's your money shots.
But then I think it's best to have experience as a smoker before one gauges how much of a "slimulant" a cigarette really is. They affect everyone differently, some people just get hungrier after smoking. It's as much of an appetite suppressant as it is a solution to calm one's nerves. Placebo's originate in the mind after all.

So the point is what? I actually did smoke until the age of 18 and my body actually filled out after quiting, getting a chest was enough for me to stop. Casual smoking sounds pointless and people are still hurting their bodies. I don't think anyone can justify smoking, if you can I'd love to here it.:innocent: Social image: Seeing a photo in vogue hasn't been something I've heard or seeing a cowbody or someone walking down the street. (Smoking doesn't make you look cool.) Peer preasure, I guess if a young kid is impressionable. (I guess killing yourself or "fitting in" is the question.) I've heard of this too and still think smoking is gross and pointless. It's not that hard to quite and I've seen people quite worse things so I have no pity on the smoker.:yuk::sick: Sorry in advance for going off topic.

Completely off topic, but I think Kurt Vonnegut justified his choice to smoke very well:

"Let us be perfectly frank. For practically everbody, the end of the world can't come soon enough. [Cigarettes are] a fairly sure, fairly honorable form of suicide."

LOL. I'm sorry and not trying to be mean or offend or whatever I/ my comment may come off as but, I hate smoke and the smell of it. I tend to let smokers (my sister hears this quite often from me) know my dislike for it too. I enjoy my life but the smokers can kill theirselves just not near me =).

So let me get back on topic, who was the couple in the blind item?

oh let us not start on vlada smoking or not.shes said she doesnt so lets get on with our merry lives

so, how about that coco rocha?
...i worked at a fashion show with her a few years back, before she became a huge star. she became widely known not long after that, but i was never really sure if it was HER or just a look-alike that i worked with at the show. then i noticed that the producer of the fashion show (who i had on my facebook as a friend) was facebook-friends with her and so that really prompted my curiousity so i messaged her and asked if it was really her who worked at that show, and she wrote back and said "yes! were you there?" and then we had a whole conversation via facebook about that show.
........and then i added her as a friend and never heard from her again. OUCH. at the time i was kinda pissed but then i thought, maybe she's just a really private person. guess we'll never know!

I don't know where should I post this, but...what hotel in Milan where (almost) all model check-in there during fashion week?

i think someone mentioned in her thread that they added Coco to Facebook and Coco added them back, mistaking her for someone she knew IRL. When she realized this mistake, she sent a message apologizing that she would have to remove her because she only used facebook to keep in touch with her close friends/people she knew.

^ That's why most people like facebook better, it's more private.

Haha...Coco adds EVERYONE now. It must get tiring to keep trying to pick through people and figure out who you've actual met or not.

I think she is seriously sweet, I interviewed her once and I know her agent, and she was a doll and I haven't heard anyone ever say anything bad about her personality.

i think it is not okay if you kill other people (passive smoking) and are indifferent for it
