Model Behavior (PLEASE READ POST #1 BEFORE POSTING)

lara and her husband are both a mess!!
they're like, the new whitney and bobby.

I'm assuming your joking here, and if not, where is the evidence?
They live a fairly quite life from what I can see.

Also folks......OVERREACTION!!! You can be in recovery and still drink in moderation.......although some people can't. I also think it has nothing to do with her husband if she fancies the odd tipple. Grown ups tend to make their own decisions.

Thank you. For all we know, it may bother her husband that she still drinks (if she is still drinking - like someone said, it may be a non-alcoholic beer). But Lara is a grown woman, and she makes her own choices. He can't force her to do (or not to do) anything.

And the pic above is one of the possible proofs.. :ninja:
Having a beer for lunch = bad to the bone.

A lot of people seem very uptight regarding alcohol, which I find slightly ridiculous I must admit...

it's not ridiculous if the person in question is a recovering alcoholic
(didn't you say in the YSL smoking thread that you were a med student?)

Oh.....the bebauched, hedonistic lifestyle of Miss Lara Stone.
Has anyone ever heard of doing things in moderation?

if some people could do certain things in moderation they wouldn't have developed addictions in the first place

most alcoholics can only stay sober through abstinence
and even then they will still posssibly go through multiple relapses

if lara is part of the few whose drinking problems weren't that serious and can recover by drinking in moderation, then that is seriously great. (likewise if she's just drinking non-alcoholic beer)

i know her life doesn't affect ours and we don't affect hers (i mean i really don't care either way, i'm only here for the discussion), but some are acting like the reasons for people's pointing it out/posting was completely unfounded

Debauched & hedonistic is so not what the Fashion Industry is all about. Someone probably did try to tell Lara that..she either slapped him or pushed her.

I am indeed. And I don't see the problem. At all. Recovering as an alcoholic means learning how to live with alcohol as something you can enjoy time to time contrary to something you need in order to function.

Erm... no. :ninja:

But maybe we can get back to gossiping now. I want to hear more about the egos at VS. :shifty:

Recovering from alcoholism is a life-long battle, and because it is often so hard, and riddled with relapses, success is measured by sobriety.

Recovering 'alcoholics' who can drink 'socially' were probably never true alcoholics (alcohol-dependents) in the first place. Most likely they were only problem-drinkers (alcohol-abusers) - which is different to alcholism.

Plus, abstinence is the only way to prevent further damage to the already damaged body (the liver in particular).

But again, let's hope Lara's drinking wasn't as serious in the first place.
