$400K? Are they any insiders here who can confirm that this paycheck is realistic?![]()
400k AUD, 288k USD. I saw the same figure reported somewhere else. Absolutely ridiculous, surely that money could have been better used on a real model.

^I doubt a common citizen would get in prison for refusing a random bag check. It's probably not Cara's 1st time taking the Eurostar so why is she even complaining in the 1st place? If you have nothing to hide, just deal with it like a normal person : let it be and then complain to your friends
Everytime I go to work, leave the building and re-enter it, I have to open my bag now. It's just how it is, annoying, unnecessary but it's the reality of the situation

It's annoying but we have to deal with it. I have to show my student card and open my bag every time I enter my uni (and I do it two or three times a day almost every day), in commercial centers it's the same and no one is making a big deal out of it. I even do it with a smile, policemen are not pleased with that and I'm sure they'd rather do something else so why make their job more difficult? Who is protecting her when she's chased by paparazzi when she leaves a fashion show in France? Security and police. She's not facing this on a daily basis, like us, so I don't get why she's annoyed.
I should have said it in my post, I just noticed you mentioned prison. My apologies
You can be arrested and be innocent.

^ Did they have a fight?![]()

I meant arrested not put in jailI should have said it in my post, I just noticed you mentioned prison. My apologies

You are breaking the law when you don't cooperate with the police. (I don't know how you say it in English but you will understand what I mean Lax89, it's the refus d'obtempérer) You don't go to prison but you are detained for 24/48 hours in a police station like EstefaniaAbaddon said. Prisons are too crowded for that kind of things. And you will have to explain yourself in a court and pay a fine. The sentence depends on several things: if you were aggressive, if you were intoxicated, if you put someone else's life in danger, etc.
Mrs.Smith, you are perfectly right. This is why I don't understand why they let her go. Her behaviour was suspicious.
