regarding an editorial in UK Vogue February 2016:

Chambers prepares meticulously, commissioning one-off pieces, working repeatedly with an A-list cohort of photographers. But as luck would have it in the shoot featured in the documentary, “the model, Linesy Montero, wouldn’t take her ear-phones off, the set was hideous “and Patrick {Demarchalier] the photographer, was losing interest. Sod’s Law. My shoots never go wrong”. (Not true: there was the time with Mario Testino when none of the clothes turned up and Chambers had to talk an incandescent Emma Watson back onto the set).

To be honest, I can't say I'm surprised about Lineisy. She will probably never work with him or Vogue UK again... The funniest is to look back at the pictures from that ed, you can tell how bored everyone was.

sad to hear that about her. This is what happens when you have teen girls being hired constantly for shoots, and havent fully learned to appreciate the opportunity that they are given.

Maybe I'm not sensing it, but what is the insinuation that not taking ear phones off really saying? that she was difficult to work with? or that she was not paying attention? I haven't heard any stories about any prior antics to get an attitude problem from her.

Think of the logistics of wearing headphones on set. They can't do her hair and will probably struggle to do her make-up. Granted, she did wear a huge afro wig for this shoot, but it's still not professional. Plus it was an OG edit, so she cannot even say she tried to pass the time while everybody faffed with the other girl. She's not at a beauty parlor!

I agree with Sixtdaily, now she's probably unofficially barred from UK Vogue, and Demarchelier who, despite his current mediocre state, holds a lot of clout in the industry.

Actually I've just checked, and she has been photographed twice by Demarchelier since the Vogue UK OG ed in February, but it was for Vogue US (July and September issues)... and I think it's only because Helena Suric, the booking director at Vogue US, is obsessed with Lineisy.

True, also US Vogue seems to dictate their model castings, as opposed to just letting the photographer demand who he wants to work with.

Sad to read those things about Lineisy, I hope she has learnt the lesson and will be more professional next times.
I want to add that Lineisy didn't know a word of English before modelling and she still has problems with the language, so maybe she prefers listening to music/reading instead of not understanding.. I'm not trying to justify her behaviour, I only wanted to point out the fact that it can be difficult being surrounded by people talking and not understanding their words. But she should make an effort and listen and be involved, because it's her job and she might start learning the language.

I think this is the only case someone had problems with her tho. I mean I have seen many nice things about her from different people..

Possibly. Bearing in mind of course that Ivanka is in many ways her father's daughter, and she's got a strong hand in his campaign. People may think Karlie is pledging allegiance to the Trump cause by following his daughter? Would make perfect sense, however I must add that since they're dating/married to brothers, one cannot deny even a simplistic connection.

Now that I've got your attention, what did you think of Kate Moss in the British Vogue documentary? She was so cute when she said 'I don't like to talk about myself......bye', . Of course I'm now convinced she's less intentionally guarded, and more shy and painfully awkward. Love her even more.

Oh Kate I read somewhere that she has a tendency to share too much with people she doesn't really know, so I think it is at least partly intentional to avoid interviews.

Not necessarily, but she doesn't have to hate her either. You can just be polite with your in laws.
But most people who are making a drama out of this don't seem to get that you can be friends with people who have different ideas.
Karlie always says in interviews that she doesn't want to talk politics, which I understand.
Besides, she attended in the past events organized by Obama's government, and the drama was about her upsetting her boyfriend and his family.

Karlie's boyfriend, Joshua, has already release some statement that he is not supporting Trump and he is a lifelong democrat. I doubt Jared will vote Trump either LOL, all these people are lifelong democrats who have financially supported the party. Karlie will be Ok.
