Lia & Odette Pavlova
Russian twins. One of them I like and another I can't stand with. And you know what? My first impression about them was quite the opposite! Sorry guys, I don't have any proofs, screens or smth cause all my impression and facts were built by social network
ask.fm, it's all in Russian, and I guess not so many people here can understand Russian, so...
1) They are both rude. I don't know, maybe they are nice with the people from the industry like designers, photographers etc., but with the fans and simple people they are rude. For example, recently one anonymous talked to Odette about her VJ cover. Smth like
"That VJ cover is not really good, we can hardly recognize you, cause of Photoshop. Your eyebrows looks overphotoshopped here. But I'm glad for you got it! I'm your fan". So Odette answered smth like
"When you get a Vogue cover, then we talk". Girl needs to perceive criticism!
Of course, when people talk good things about them they are nice. It's fine, like, there are so many rude people in Russia, I also id myself as rude sometimes. But as for the sisters, Lia doesn't hide that, and Odette act like a nice person. And here's fact #2.
2) Odette is so fake. Trust me, this girl is so so so fake! Like, she literally said once that it's really hard for her to be nice with the people she works with. Maybe Lia too, but I don't really feel a fake person in Lia. Lia doesn't hide that she's rude sometimes, but the way they answering people's questions and comments I should say Odette even rougher than Lia!
3) Odette always trying to act like a person that she's not really is. Maybe it's hard to accept, but here's some examples. She always id herself as a creative person. So anonymous asked her
"How is it manifested in you?". And she answered
"In many ways, I can't explain". I mean, Is it really hard to tell to people the reason you thinks you're a very creative person? Also some anonym asked her about music that she likes and tell us her favorite artists in this style of music. I can't remember what kind of music she likes, but she couldn't even tell her favorite artists in this style. I mean... Come on! Do you really like the music or you pretend like you love this music? I love indie pop, and my fave is Lana Del Rey. Is it really hard?
3) Anonym asked Odette about the show that she didn't walk, but she really wanted to. She's like
"I don't have any". Then people asked
"Maybe Givenchy?" And she's like
"I don't really want to show up at Givenchy". But then she walked her first Givenchy show and she's like
"I'm so happy I walked Givenchy!". Are you?
4) You know, Lia was a Gucci girl and Odette - YSL girl season or two ago. So Gucci dropped Lia after she cut her hair for Carine and Steven Meisel. And after Vaccarello joined YSL, all the esclusive Hedi Slimane' girls didn't walk last show. So Lia's reaction was smth like
"I didn't expect this. It's so sad, I walked every show for them. But I'm really grateful, Michele is really talented". And Odette' reaction was
"I don't like new YSL and I don't really wanted to walk the show".
5) Odette always talks about Hadids and Jenners. Like, they are there because of their parents and etc. Actually I support her in this. I hate these girls too. But is it really smart to talk like this when you're a model and working with the same people? I remember Blanca Padilla said something about Gigi's body and then she didn't walked VSFS last 2 years.
6) The time Lia hit the
Top 50 Models, Odette was happy for her. So people talked to Odette that she deserves it too. And Odette answered like "I'm almost there". Confidence is a good quality, but overconfidence... I don't think so.
So my first impression was
"Ok, I love Odette, but Lia should learn how to communicate with people". And now I changed my mind completely, because
again Odette is so fake! She's nice in that FashionTV interview tho, but here in Russian social network I always feel negative from her. Maybe she loves fame so much.
