It sounds like on Jan 2 there was some sort of altercation between her hubs and the police and now the tabloids have gotten wind of it and are publishing slander and lies about her husband... she claims that the cops beat him, cops are saying he was the aggressor. Then (it sounds like) she's talking about living in a virtual police state for the last four years where the cops barge in, search, seize, etc without cause - when she talks about racism I think she means something more along the lines of profiling... this might be because of her husband's (real or imagined? she says imagined/made up by the tabloids? *unsure*) association with Alexander Onishchenko (he's at odds with/outspoken against the Ukrainian gov and has fled to London)- the Donbass region was where the majority of the Ukraine gov vs pro-Russian separatist fighting took place after/during the 2014 Ukraine revolution and there is still tension there, thus the "all who come to the Donbass is the gangsters" comment ...

^that isn't any sort of direct translation or anything just what I got out of it...

Oops sorry, haven't read her English transaltion. Basically what Mea Culpa said. She says that they are treated differently because they come from Donetsk.

Also seems she hasn't translated the part about how she was stopped by police, when she was riding in her husband's car with her mother and policeman pointed a gun at her and stuff. Yeah basically she's talking about unjust treatment from police and a witch hunt around her husband. I guess maybe his business might be somehow involved.

What a messy situation for Snejana and her husband, but I'm not sure if posting all the details on insta is going to help her case...

She couldn't get anymore work like a lot of girls from her generation. And also her lack of professionalism I believe played a role in her downfall. Oh well. At least some of the girls like Iselin, Raquel, and Mariacarla from that era still get booked.

Is there actually a specific reason why Snejana stopped modelling? I remember her being huge years ago when I first kinda discovered the whole fashion/modelling world and she was on of the it girls back then..

I think she didn't appreciate what she had until it was gone. And at that point she started to try to get it back but it was too late, the ship had sailed.

I remember Snejana use to say something along the lines of "modeling is not my dream" so even then you could tell she didn't understand what she had until it was gone.

Ultimately though she did this to herself. There are lots of models that at least book SOMETHING, but Snejana not so much. She was too picky. I think in one of her interviews she said that she would only do editorials if she also got the cover, would only do certain photo shoots if it had big name MUA's, etc. You can't do that. When you take a big hiatus you got to take what you're given (within reason) and build yourself back up as opposed of just going straight in to Gucci campaigns like she thought she would. Couple that with her unprofessionalism on IG, she just screamed desperate.

If there was a chance that Snej had any self discipline to pull it back together and work again I might feel bad that she is finally walking away (she says today). BUT the reality seems that its just a launching pad for more social media drama and dragging. She needs a reality show about a former star turned public trainwreck making 500 failed attempts at a comeback only to be thwarted by herself EVERY time. Too bad, Snejana Onopka was fire back in the day. Even now I still wish she could pull it together. Good luck to her.

Hmm I see.. I don't really know how many times she has tried to get back into the modelling world, but I guess any chance of her getting back in and getting very popular/on top again are slim to none No idea what she did on IG that was so unprofessional, since I don't follow her..

Let's be honest here, apart from the lack of professionalism already mentioned her look was just out of style. She didn't stop modeling, she just didn't get booked anymore. She fit right in with the Eastern European look from 2005-2009 but after that designers preferred different kind of looks and Snejana just wasn't versatile enough.

Mariya Markina, Anna Maria Urajevskaya, Anna Gushina, Natalia Chabanenko, Tanya Dziahileva & Inguna Butane all had that very Eastern European look and disappeared around the same time/even earlier than Snejana. She didn't get any work anymore and her extremely unprofessional behaviour prevented people from working with her again in the future.

^Dziahileva and Onopka are gold diggers. Once they got their "money trees", they lost interest in working, but still thought they will be geting A list job offers sitting home and doing nothing. The rest in your list are just fillers, they never were on same level as these two
