Drinks are allowed in the audience at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, but one model insisted at the American Express Platinum-sponsored event: “We can drink inside and do whatever we want because they rented the whole theater.”

Her pal cluelessly responded at the Tony-winning toughest ticket in town: “We’ll need tequila to stay awake.”

Cara Delevingne and Other Models Were Reportedly Rude During Hamilton

Even though Lin Manuel-Miranda is no longer starring in his popular Broadway play, the hype over Hamilton, which collected a whopping 11 Tony awards last summer, is still incredibly real. Last Saturday, some models, celebrities, press, and other lucky attendees finally got a chance to check it out thanks to a private performance sponsored by American Express Platinum. Amongst the hashtag blessed theater-goers were models Cara Delevingne, Coco Rocha, Hilary Rhoda, and Helena Christensen. But, allegedly, rather than behaving with a gracious politesse, that particular crew acted as though standard theatergoing etiquette didn't apply.

According to The Cut, the models were reportedly rude during Hamilton. The ushers at the Richard Rodgers Theatre repeatedly needed to remind them that pictures weren't allowed. (TBH, we probably would have wanted to take selfies at our first time seeing the play, too.)

After the show was over, the models and other attendees moved over to Diamond Horseshoe, a restaurant and night club in the Paramount Hotel to continue the festivities. Despite the claims of rudeness and boredom, Delevingne still seemed to have a good time; at the after party, she told [WWD] that, "I’ve been dying to see it for so long — I already knew all of the songs.” That's nice and all — but the way she and her cohorts expressed their gratitude for the actors's performances sounds questionable to say the least.

Wow, I've seen some really stupid campaigns as of late, and this one is definitely the cherry on top. What is it with all those PR and marketing people? Did they all study at Betsy DeVos Private High?

On a more positive note, if none of the careers I'm interested in works out, I guess I can still earn a shitton of money writing Pepsi ads.

Regarding the Hamilton incident, Coco Rocha wrote a very "angry" post on instagram calling everyone a liar and saying how she and Cara Delevigne were very well behaved and all. Nothing about Adwoa.

But if Cara can't behave during fashion shows, runway jobs, interviews and so on and son on, I wouldn't be surprised if she played the entitled c*** there too. But who's to say? We have no proof, unfortunately.

I feel bad for Kendall because she should have never been put in this position... Kris Jenner needs to find her another agency IF she wants to actually develop as a model... Thesociety does not look out for her best interest just their bottom line ...sadly.

"Rude and obnoxious people exist everywhere in the world, in every industry, walk of life and apparently even at Broadway shows on Saturday nights. But its misleading to write stories about "anonymous" rude models and then plaster @caradelevingne, @helenachristensen and my picture and name alongside it, leaving the reader to mistakenly fill in the blanks with our names.
