"UK model kidnapped and held captive in Italy for six days"

"Police said the woman had come to Milan for a photoshoot, apparently a fake setup, and was attacked and abducted on 11 July.

According to court documents, the woman was drugged and transported in a bag to Borgial, an isolated village near Turin.

It is alleged two men tried to sell the woman online for around £230,000 and demanded the model's agent pay to secure her safe release. "

Does anyone know who the model is or heard anything about this? She has an agent and all so I assume she's a serious model and not a "model"?

I could be totally wrong, but I just don't believe a word of her story. Not one.

It also seems unlikely that she would be willing to risk going to jail for wasting the time and money of the police.

Not sure if she is just not very bright (for posing for the photographers like nothing traumatic happenef) or really dumb (for commiting a crime), to be honest.

The behaviour of the sex traffickers is much more baffling than the odd reaction of the model (the victim they chose to target, their ridiculous code of honor, the way they released her...). The whole thing is so bizarre

After reading the article my first thought was that she´s an escort, traffickers made a mistake taking her and then had to deal with her pimp who´s a bigger deal in the underground community

I'm so bad at guessing that stuff
Her agency is "supermodel management London" and her agent is called Phil Green.
There aren't even models pictures on the website let alone their names or stats so I don't even know how you request specific models when you can't even see them first.
Shouldnt he have vet the clients first anyway?

Beyond that, if the traffickers are this thorough at finding people to capture wouldn't they already know she had a child?

Can people please stop sharing this story everywhere but especially tfs?!, I even got an alert from CNN... who cares.. is it sadder when you're British and a bikini model? give me a break... plenty of more bizarre and barbaric kidnappings happening daily.

Hold on a second ... are we saying that if a woman is a 'model,' anything goes? Sure, throw her in a bag, toss it in the trunk, do whatever you like? Surely that is not what is being said here :o I don't care what she does for a living, classy or not, she's still a human being with the same rights as Kate Moss et al.

I totally agree.

Although I wouldn't let this girl push me out of a chair anytime she'd like, but thats another matter entirely...

Obviously not, I'm just implying that her profession is a complete joke compared to real models. I mean, that was she does and what Guinevere Van Seenus does are called the same thing is laughable.

Come on... The stories of white women being kidnapped by mysterious groups to be turned into sex slaves are popular urban legends in the occidental countries. It is natural to be curious about what happened to this woman.

I believed her at first, but this:

Is this the embodiment of the Lima Syndrome? (a reverse of Stockholm Syndrome FYI)

And just how did you manage to piece that together from what was written? It's obvious the comments were that she's not what this forum would consider a model. No other commentary was made regarding whether what was done to her (allegedly) was inconsequential because she's not a Kate Moss.

I am in no doubt that these things happen - how many children have gone missing down through the decades, how many women do we see escaping from their underground prisons? How many bodies still to be found, how many people still being held right now?

The media labelling her a 'model' at least means she's not condemned to the immediate dismissal of worth that is reserved for sex workers.

And at least she's also still alive, even if the story takes an odd turn with each day.

What I want to know is how it is possible for the 'Dark Web' to exist?? Disband it, and do those who use it for whatever you can pin on them, which must be something perverse or sinister!

As for this story, I'm beginning to think there's no 'victim' here in the traditional sense. It's all a pack of lies imo, and it's doing much to taint actual people getting kidnapped. Let's not even bless them with phrases such as 'Lima' or Stockholm' syndrome!
