Model Behavior (PLEASE READ POST #1 BEFORE POSTING)

Although Kendull's rep has responded (a very lame and irrelevant response though!), I am hoping more real models would come out and drag her!

A rep for Jenner tells PEOPLE that the quote was taken out of context. “Mid-thought she realized the number of shows some models walk a season is closer to 80. The point was that it’s their path and ‘the more power to them,'” the rep says of Jenner’s feelings about runway models. “She admires their hard work and dedication. It’s an accomplishment.”

This is the time for her to address this issue on her own because its people she has to work with everyday that feel insulted by her reckless words. Of course, at time of crisis, her agent and agency are absent I really think people at TheSociety agency hates Kendall.

Also, I am sure other models make blunders like this but they also have agent who is over seeing interviews that they do and make sure they come out ok. Her agency should have pick up on that statement even before LOVE went to print... just like the Pepsi fiasco.

Models haven't walked 80 in a season in sometime, maybe 80 in a year. So her suddenly realizing she misspoke is an attempting to do damage control. I see how she gives herself anxiety ... such an unnecessary comment.

Why do they always rush to People to set the record straight? Just post something on your Insta and disable the comments. That would sound more earnest, at least. These people are their own worst enemy.

I think Kendall's team is underestimating the magnitude of this. They couldn't even bother to get her to make an apology on social media or something and instead a rep sent out the same comment to every media outlet, it's so insincere.

PS. How does the fact that she realized midway that the number is closer to 80 change anything? She still meant the same, who cares whether she said 30 or 80.

Saying 30 instead of 80 was the least of her problems.

Also, BIanca Finch (Next) has worked as Kendall's fit model as Kendall wouldn't show up.

EDITED: Please do not quote photos.
You know that makes zero sense, right? They use fit models all the time but Kendall still needs to do her own fittings. Just because someone post something on twitter does not mean it's true.

If Gigi, Bella, Joan are her real friends, they will advise her to write something on her social media that explains what she was trying to say and apologize for anyone who may have been offended with her poor choice of wording. That's all it will take for this to boil over but both Kendall and her agent are too stupid to come to this realization on their own.

The statement is lame, focusing on "80 instead of 30" isn't the point and there was literally no apology there, kinda like she doesn't think she owes one. But when not one or two but over twenty models, some of them who don't usually respond to this sort of controversy, have felt disrespected and shared their thoughts about it, the very least anyone can do is personally apologizing for offending anyone even if there was no intention to do so. I guess Kendall is selective about that as well.

Despite how she sells herself as a legit model to tabloid readers and reality-show viewers, modeling is not the hand that feeds her, it is reality TV. I doubt she would ever bite the hand of E! (or pornhub..) viewers that have essentially built her career.

but all these models being like 'I did these 40 shows because I had to make a living!'.. nobody cares, you were not picking up tomatoes for 10 hours under the sun so boo hoo, I just want someone to tell it like it is: you must've done 15 at the most because only 15 designers had to sink low enough to cast a Kardashian for their show and ever since, it's been a progressively lower number and every time the end of FW is approaching and is evident she will not book anything at all, there comes the headline about anxiety, mental health, or being "out and about" in LA as if to remind everyone she's primarily Hollywood (and she is, so stop trolling the modeling world maybe?).

Legit models who've had to build their careers from nothing have been criticising this Insta age for a while now. This is an interview from Karolina Kurkova a couple years ago. I think she hit the nail on the head "discipline, dedication and patience" and "staying grounded". These qualities are what Kendall has demonstrated she's lacking with her LOVE quote.

Shade from models dot com but not mentioning Kendall directly in anyway lol, there most recent thing posted

They can do all the damage control humanly possible at the moment but there is one thing they won't be able to erase: every model's hatred. A model can hold a grunge for decades, honey. Fashion week starts in less than a month and the memory of this will be as fresh as ice. I wouldn't want to be her walking around backstage.

Also, how many top models will now refuse to work with her?

This isn't a matter of nepotism here. The Hadids did say stupid stuff (do you all remember stick thin Gigi's cry for "It's hard for me because I'm curvy"?) but they would never smash their peers like this. Kendall set the circus on fire with this one and although that can do some good to her celebrity status, it will burn her status as a model and make her life a living hell. And she sure deserves it.

More statements from models (continued from Valentine27’s post):

Luma Grothe (cont.)
I was 5 years modeling when Burberry finally gave me the chance to walk their show. Doors were finally opening... after FIVE years. Then because Burberry said yes, Versace decided to say yes as well, in the same season... That year I walked like 15 shows just in Milan. Dean and Dan from Dsquared not only gave me the opportunity to walk their show, but also made me the face of their campaign that year. Because of Dsquared, Paco Rabanne noticed who I was, and then made me the face of their fragrance OLYMPEA, which I so proudly represent until today. And then, magic happened! @stephanelancien who did my hair for Paco Rabanne, told the president of Loreal about me and I became the global ambassador for Loreal. 5 years for the first designer to give me a chance. I’m sure you didn’t expect that right? So many times I thought I wasn’t gonna make it. But I did! And from here on I know everything is possible.

Leomie Anderson on Twitter:
I’m shocked but not surprised by this attitude. Not everyone gets to skip castings, get paid more than anyone else and generally work less - it’s not about being “selective”, it’s about not having to put the work in but still receiving all the campaigns and editorials.

Comments on Vlada’s post:

Natasha Poly:

Ratner:
How much strength, hard work, talent and respect in one post. #thosegirls who are really worthy of respect. Thank you for a huge portion of inspiration.

Anastasia Eremenko:
Yes Vlada

Alana Zimmer:
Yess Vlada! And that number you hit at the end of each season meant more than any amount of Instagram followers because it required hard work and dedication

Alina Baikova:
We know the hard work

Alicia Burke was asked on Instagram what she thinks about the Kendall situation, she responded with the song “Pray” by Sam Smith.

This is from her twitter account

I was misrepresented in a recent interview over the wknd & it’s important to clarify the meaning. It was intended to be entirely complimentary but unfortunately, my words were twisted & taken out of context.I want to be clear. The respect that I have for my peers is immeasurable!

I get to experience first hand their tireless commitment, their work ethic, the endless days, the lack of sleep, separation from family and friends, stress of traveling, the toll on physical and mental health, yet they still make it all look effortless and beautiful.
I’m inspired by so many of these people i have had the good fortune to work alongside! There’s no way i could EVER hate on that I  want everyone to win. SLAY ALWAYS.

Cultivate kindness today and always.

Is she going against Carine, then? And whoever did the interview?

Katie Grand. I fully support that because that only means Kendull will disappear from many magazines and runway shows very soon. And she can continue to sit down and check her privilege in Calabasas.

Btw, I also wonder how will Anna and Vogue react to this?

^ Isn't Anna's last issue this september?? Also Kendall hasn't been in Vogue US in a while, but this is definitely close many doors for her and I bet she will skip all fashion week next month.
