Model Behavior (PLEASE READ POST #1 BEFORE POSTING)

I mean, he didn't even comment that under any of her posts though. She sought out that comment left on a different instagram page. She could have ignored it like she does with many other posts about her surgically enhanced body. :innocent:

The situation reminds me a bit of Lena Dunham's comments on Odell Beckham Jr, not the exact situation since Tyson actually stated it, but she went on to attack some part of his sexuality since they both didn't feel the man was attracted to them.

Tyson is an idiot and has always been an idiot.
Whether or not Kim's body is surgically enhanced or not, isn't any of his concern.
Like most misogynist men, he went out of his way to body shame a woman, as if his stupid opinion mattered.
Kim K doesn't need his seal of approval. Her response was not homophobic. If anything it was tame.
Tyson is a washed up, middle aged ex model, doing strip shows for Chippendales. I'm sure Kim K is devastated she's not his type.

Love me some Tyson but team KK on this one. He threw the first punch and she hit him where it hurts.

But that’s the whole point. To say someone is gay shouldn’t be an insult or something to hurt someone with.

Well I don't see the insult TBH, as a gay man, I'm not offended by this (but that's just me, can't talk for everyone), I see this more like an statement more than an insult. I'm on team KK this time, well managed Kim.

Precisely, she's not calling him gay as an insult; it's a statement that he's a long rumored closet case, which itself is not an insult against homosexuality but rather addressing him and the catty unprovoked remark he made.

^Totally!

This is completely boring and uninteresting compared to this KK cvs Tyson thing. But have you seen Jeana Turner's (from ANTM cycle 24) instagram stories, the one with alopecia? One girl uploaded a picture of Jeana and didn't credit her or the photographer, and Jeana made a HUGE deal about it calling her out publicly, then the girl apologized, credited the picture and after she had to delete the picture because she started to attacking her. Even Jeana's boyfriend apologized to the girl. This Jeana to me always have been kinda an attention wh*re and drama queen since she was in the show. She's a second version of Whinny Harlow (or whatever her name is)) or a Snejana / Magdalena without success, just the drama

Interview with Kendall for Love

IG thelovemagazine

Irina Kulikova also reposted and commented "sorry girl but you don't know sh*t"

How disrespectful and disdainful.
A mental breakdown? 30 shows a season? Girl, years before, models were walking 70-80+ shows a season, what are you talking about?
Shame on the Love Magazine to post this and to think it was right to do so. This is such a slap in the face of every other models who actually work hard, no matter how many castings, fittings, or shows they are booked for.
Good to see Vita and Irina's responses. Kendall clearly doesn't know a thing.

Love's team clearly posted that quote for the controversy and reactions. Katie has been an insider for so long, she knows Kendall has no idea what she's talking about here.

A few girls have replied in their stories...

- Teddy Quinlivan (reposted by Sarah Brannon)
"Those girls"
- Make expanetially less for the same jobs as you.
- Have to show up ON TIME not an hour before the show starts.
- Don't come from a celebrity family
- Don't have the opportunity to refuse work.
- Weren't born into privilege like you.
From the Notes app... she also posted this:
As models we need to uplift each other. We all work extremely hard to pursue our dreams even the “girls who walk 30 shows a season or whatever the **** those girls do.” If you are lucky as a model you might make enough to not be in debt to your agency; maybe even move out of the model apartment... if you’re lucky. I’m privileged, I’m white, I’m a passable trans woman, my family doesn’t rely on my paycheck to survive. Unfortunately this isn’t the case for the vast majority of models who have to leave everything behind including their families in pursuit of a better life. Models don’t just come from Calabasas... they come from Somalia, The Siberian tundra, a rural village in China, a trailer park in Tennessee. Making disparaging comments about your peers doesn’t lead to growth or unity which our regulation-less industry desperately needs...

- Ginta Lapina (reposted by Monika Jagaciak)
We all are hard working and worked hard to be where we are. Nothing was given to us

- Daria Strokous replied in her IG story as well :
"..." whatever the **** those girls do" is do their very best to make their way up AND try to make some money so that they can provide for themselves and their families. Oh, and it's 70 shows a season by the way. And we all are ****ing proud of every single one of the girls that did it. But not before we’d go to a million castings and call-backs and “fit-to-confirm”s and fittings and rehearsals. All of that because we are ****ing fearless. And working with all these designers is a ****ing dream come true and nothing compares to the 10 seconds of walking on that runway.
She also posted various pics of Coco Rocha "walking in thousands of shows", Freja Beha "waking up at 5am for the call time", Magdalena Frackowiak "sat through hours of hair and make up", Natasha Poly “walked with handcuffs by @marcjacobs lol”, Mariacarla Boscono “some even handcuffed behind their backs”, Kasia Struss “and then we would risk our ankles in those crazy @alexandermcqueen shoes”

- Faretta
Seriously?!?!?! Being lazy is not being selective. We work hard and giving 100% from us, but you can't say that for yourself... and after all you dare to talk like this?!

- Leila Goldkuhl
Oh no. #checkyourprivilege

- Luma Grothe
When I started in this industry I was pretty much starving for the first 3 years. Working every single day for free. Waiting for the day someone would notice me and my hard work and give me the chance to do ONE show ! I couldn't even go back home for Christmas because I was absolutely broke. I had to work so hard for people to even remember my name ! If you are one of "those girls" who does 30 shows a season and work so freaking hard to make your mark in this industry, just know... I love you to death and you are a badass

- Monika Jagaciak (comment on the Love Magazine's post)
This makes me so angry... so disrespectful to literally 99% of people in the industry - yes, they had to work their way up. Please get in touch with the real world!

- Irina Djuranovic
never been so indirectly and publicly offended in my whole entire life god damn!!!!!!!!!! to be called a supermodel... how easy it comes to you.

- Mame Thiane Camara
You’re so stupid and disrespectful towards other models. We weren’t born millionaires. Some of us have to do 1000 shows per season because we need to ****ing eat.

Oh my goodness Kendall is so stupid and ungrateful. I don't think she is mean, she is just incredibly superficial: when you grow up in a family and environment that lets you have anything you want, you don't understand the real value of things, actions and words. They're just there and you know you can have them. Spoiled privileged rich kids like Kendall are not aware of the world around us and all the real problems in it.

I'd like to add that this is why I like Gigi and Bella and I will never like Kendall: Gigi and Bella actually had to work to get where they are, they started from minor jobs and are always grateful and respectful towards people around them, unlike Kendall who is the opposite.

It's like she wants to justify her anxiety (when there's literally no need to, her mental health issues are totally valid) and says it's because of the stress of her job, but at the same time knows she doesn't work half as hard as other models, so she ends up saying stupid things like this. I don't believe for a second she genuinely thinks she's better than anyone but saying she's 'very selective' with the shows she walks is such a joke. She doesn't walk Prada, Gucci, Vuitton, etc because she doen't get booked lmao. And cancelling a Versace Couture show to attend to your friend's birthday isn't being selective, it's called being privileged because you know no matter what you'll get booked again.

Julia Ratner also replied with "Honestly, Kendall, just keep your fvcking mouth shut".

And to be honest, I used to like her, feel her struggle after she said she is just a regular model who worked really hard to get to the point where she is right now, and that she is tired of hearing people say that it's just because she is from the Kardashian and Jenner clan. But what she just said... Canceled.

Thats completely untrue. Gigi and Kendall both started their HF career for Marc Jacobs Fall 2014 but Gigi was already doing Guess campaigns for family friend, Marciano. She started at NY IMG whereas Kendall was doing LA celebrity/modeling jobs for Wilhelmina in LA for a couple years before the likes of Russell James and Katie Grand took interest in her.

I do agree Kendall is very stupid. Her agency was selective initially to limit over exposure and also to hide the fact that she could not book many top caliber shows. Clearly she clueless to make such a statement. What can people expect from her... when she was taken out of school at 16 and pimped by her mother to whatever rapper or baller interested...

Her comments are so brazenly insensitive, no doubt about that. For a family so obsessed with consumption - money, men, fame, I'm surprised there's no handler who whistles in her ear what to say and what not to. Maybe they're reserved for the slower ones (Kylie and Kourtney.)
Yet I do get what she's trying to say as well - that her modelling career followed a different trajectory. That her agency never set her out to be the top walker, cover queen, or campaign girl of the season. Instead she did other, lower tier jobs, the reality show, or the Kendall x Kylie line which probably paid more, and demanded more, yet didn't help advance her HF appeal. And that was what caused her exhaustion. Anyway, that's how I read it. She just phrased it in typical Kardashian style - dumb.
