Model Behavior (PLEASE READ POST #1 BEFORE POSTING)

Geez! Some of those comments do look like bots, but its obvious that they’re genuinely hurt by the article she shared. Versace’s social media manager will definitely see the comments, some with hundreds of likes... and then what will be done? One comment seems to have already been deleted.

I can’t say I’m surprised by this after some of her tweets were brought to light, which she promptly deleted and never addressed; not to mention the video of her at Coachella lip syncing to Lil Wayne... and, as stated above, her filming and uploading the Gigi video with the Buddha cookie on her birthday. Neither of those situations were adequately addressed by her, but as soon as the Fyre Fest started to crash and burn, she put out a statement (and a great one, at that.) Wonder if, in this case, she’ll speak out or if she’ll lay low.

EDIT: The saga continues...

That's what struck me at first as well. Normally you can tell when people are trolling, the majority of these posters aren't by the looks of it. They're genuinely bothered. You can tell by the crazy amount of likes, the tone of their posts, and the fact that many didn't even bother to set their profile to private.

And when you explore their Bellaisracist tag it gets worse. The memes they've created cracks me up though. It's just so terribly tasteless and cheap, which I guess is the whole point of a meme. Lol.

Completely forgot about the Fyre Island debacle! And even there too, it seems the others were closer to the firing line than she was.

The Saudi government is well known for paying a hefty salary for bots to spam social media and attack anyone that dares to speak out against their country. They also like each other’s posts for credibility. I’m sure some citizens were hurt, but the overreaction and similar wording is proof that they are bots.

On Instagram it definitely feels like it's a trolling/bot vibe in all the comments. I've gone to check out a couple of the profiles and they're all empty. Standard. It's a shame Instagram doesn't have a feature where you can translate Arabic comments into English.

Whatever she has to say about the Saudi Arabian and UAE *government*, she can and I'm sure not many would take offense over that. But the boot over the flags was not a good move and quite disrespectful. I mean she has criticized Trump in the past - why didn't she show the boot to the American flag?
But doubt she's losing any contracts over this. Did Gigi lose any work because of Cookie gate? I don't recall (other than the VSFS that year).

what is the percent of intersex individuals?

You have a natural vagina, better? You are still oppressed because of your sex. Your raising was different that that of a male-born individual that had privilege all of their life and now decides to identify as something else. I'm also "cis", but a FtM will have more in common with my reality than a MtF.
You're still picking a scientifically arbitrary definition of what makes a woman. I have no idea why you're fighting to prove that what, 'natural' women have it worse than trans women? (Statistically that's not even close to true.) Or that trans women are trying to edge you out and steal all the pity you totally would have gotten if not for them? They are a unique group of people with fundamentally different experiences to the average woman and I don't know anyone who's trying to say otherwise. You can't just swap a cis woman with a trans woman as if they face exactly the same discrimination and have gone through identical experiences. They don't.

Women are already an underclass virtually everywhere in the world in some form or another; trans men and women are an even more maligned group of people. There is an opportunity for mutual support there and yet you're talking as though they are having a gender crisis just so they can take something away from you as a woman... it's not about you.

Somehow I spotted one Twitter that acted like so which was my gateway to whatever Bella did there. Definitely a bot.

Whew, quite a lot going on in pop culture today.

Taylor Swift published an open letter on Tumblr this morning which illustrates that all of her music made under Big Machine Records, her first, former and longtime record label, is being sold to Scooter Braun, most known for managing Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande:

Justin Bieber issued an apology on his IG page, to which Hailey Bieber replied with "gentleman":

Then, Cara Delevingne, friends with Taylor, replied to Hailey with this comment (which has since been deleted, either by Cara or Justin):

Ok, so many thoughts, none of which should be taken at heart, so spare me the outrage, pearl-clutchers!

- Someone actually named their child 'Scooter'? It's like 'Tucker' or 'Beto', how do people come up with these names???
- People are still using Tumblr?
- I believe Justin Bieber speaks the way he types. 100%. I don't believe he was drunk or 'that we do not speak of on here' while composing that post. He probably thinks it perfectly acceptable to use the word 'rebuttal' in that sentence.
- At the core, I sympathise with Taylor because she's making a strong case. That is once I'm able to ignore the bits where she's soliciting sympathy while trying to further her own ends. And the little plug for her new album at the end, which is tasteless. You want to bring an issue to the forefront? Go ahead. But don't use it as a platform to profit from it.
- Re Cara, I'm not at all surprised by the tone of that post. Can only imagine the kind of chatter which takes place at their girls-only meetups.

I have never been a fan of Taylor and her whole "look at my girls' squad" thing (which has now evolved into her queer squad, I guess) always annoyed me as it seemed she wanted to show off how popular she was and tried to call this female empowerment while she was actually dragging another woman so I never liked her. But I have to stand on her side about this situation. Taylor has a valid point and she has explained it clearly and without being disrespectful. Justin's excuses are pretty funny, it looks like he's still a little boy in school. Cara's response is on the same level of Justin's apologies: useless and full of cliches.

I'm detecting a faint attitude/unpleasantness/defensiveness from Naomi throughout this short interview. Body language alone is revealing.

Agree with her re Alexandra Shulman, I don't buy that she believes in 'beauty from all perspectives' - the mere fact that she's using social media as a justification is telling, and the Phillip Green thing is a bold-faced lie. Not that she never saw any improper behaviour, but that she had no association with him. This is just the tip of the iceberg, and most of these events are not Kate Moss affiliated....

There's certainly something to be said for just keeping your mouth shut à la Kate.

Naomi is very opportunistic. Is that because she had no choice to be like that to succeed ? Maybe but even now her big heart and all the charity involving she promotes feels very opportunistic.

Her and Edward are the most preaching inclusivity but doing the least possible. I do like them though :innocent:

Let's also not forget Naomi's denial of the blood diamonds at the Sierra Leone court hearing in The Hague. I love Naomi as a model but she sure has very questionable ethics when it comes to things like human rights. She promotes some human rights issues (which is great of course) but then will happily turn a blind eye to others.

Wow, Achok's posts about Teddy... I hope someone is getting her some serious help.
Yes! What the heck is happening?! She’s full on calling out Teddy and IMG, and while her accusations may be true she is coming across as totally deranged. Worried for her to be honest.
