Model Behavior (PLEASE READ POST #1 BEFORE POSTING)

 i still blame it on Chanel.
she was at a function recently.
but even if she didnt mistakenly take it.
i still like to blame her.
just because it's fun.
ya know. pickin on a freshmen.
that kind of fun.

It seems like Lily Donaldson really is a bit of a priss. I was roaming around different fashion blogs and I came across one girl's blog who attended Paris fashion week, and gave little insight on all of the model's she saw there. Here is the one about Lily.
If anyone's interested, the blogger posted some videos of Lily walking around and giving mean looks, along with a bunch of other videos of several models. It's interesting to read all of the comments about them, they're a bit insightful.

Source for the above comment is luxenoir.blogspot.com!

you can't really say anything about lily based on this. she was just probably looking to leave and a swarm of people was following her and she might have been in a hurry for the next show.

Also I REALLY like she isnt a show off , prancing around for the cameras trying to attract attention ala chanel iman :ninja::flower:

Well, I presume it's because she's so used to the attention she doesn't need to go looking for more ^_^ Her status in the industry is also stabilized while with some of the younger girls' future still look iffy. They might not be doing this a couple seasons later.

I think the blog states this too

The video may not "prove" anything but a lot of times you just KNOW someone is a b*tch, even from being around them for 2.5 seconds. Sometimes you can even smell it from miles away :p

Wait I just read all that about the shoes. Nowhere does it mention that there was an issue or someone had reported the shoes missing.. nor does it say that the shoes in that picture were the exact ones or that the legs were that of the thief.. it just plainly doesn't state the shoes were definitely stolen, just that they were on one of the models spotted one night. Often times certain models are actually given the shoes by the stylist or the designer either offered or the models can ask. Just some ways that it's not actually considered stealing. BOGUS STORY I SAY!
or it could be Chanel. whatever works.:o:lol:

Good point...It could very well be that the model in question was actually given the shoes or was allowed to wear them for an event...Didn't Maria Carla wear Givenchy right after the show to the dinner...It wouldn't be the first time...

And on a side note, I've met and worked with Chanel before, and yes, she is energetic, but she is young and fun. I don't see why so many people don't like her, or are put off by her because she isn't so reserved. I also find it a bit comical that people form such strong opinions toward people that they have never met, or have just seen on the street.

it seems you're all quite reluctant to believe what posters have said about her (from personal experience, and not just 3 second video clips). it seems lily still has fans left despite her nasty attitude!

^Yeah, I hate that. Some people need to realize that their favorite models are not sweethearts and stop defending them.

I actually dont like Lily's look but I find her pretty cool! ^_^
And I like Stammy's personality as well. I prefer divas over annoying people like Chanel Iman .

^well then you're lucky you don't have to work with her! stam might have a reputation for stealing clothes, but she's simmered down lately. perhaps she realized that being an unprofessional diva can hurt your chance of getting -- and keeping -- jobs.

Fans don't have to be best friends with Lily, they might like her for other reasons, such as her work (isn't that what models should be evaluated on anyways?). Why can't people like her if she has a nasty attitude?

^ i didn't say you couldn't like her for her work. my response was to the posters who said you couldn't tell from 3 second video clips. indeed you cannot, but there's been much more evidence of her rude and unprofessional behavior than those videos. love her all you want, but this is a "Model Behavior" thread, so she's not being evaluated for her work.

I really like Lily as a model, but as a person? Who knows because I don't know her. From what I've heard about her as we all know, I wonder though, has she always been like that or is this something that developed over her career? Maybe it was always there but she held it in for a while until she established herself? Anyone able to enlighten me? :)

^i assume the attitude developed more recently. she's one of the more established girls working today, and there's no way she would've gotten where she is if she'd had a bad attitude from the start. maybe someone else has more experience with her from back in the day?

Can someone give an example of something Lily has done? Besides looking grumpy and stroppy.

I'm really glad I'm not the only one who thinks this
Some people are just too gullible and believe everything that's thrown their way....competely negating the fact that it's based merely on a biased opinion of someone or some unsubstantiated gossip. A vast majority of people that have met Chanel around here and other forums have only said nice things about her. Either way, a model's attitude should only concern those that are working with them....if they can't deliver in print I'll not like them...no matter how nice they are.
