I'm not sure if I can get past her hammer head and her extreemly broad shoulders but I think that I might find Lily alot more appealing now

^I do agree with that. And I also act differently around different people. I just find it kind of bratty when you will act rude and disrespectful to people like fans, backstage people, backstage photographers and then go and act lovely to people like Meisel. It seems that you only care about the jobs that you get and nothing else. It's just my opinion and that's why I am not fan of them.![]()
you know, i think it's a shame that some models are snobs and do treat those who may not have much of a say as to if they will or will not be re-hired like trash. i mean, you expect these girls to be humble, simply because a great majority of them were discovered at the most random of places, a mall, a grocery store, a dance recital, and etc., etc.! they didn't go to modeling school. they didn't struggle in order to be noticed. i would say that a majority of these girls/women didn't send their pictures to an agency, nor were they born with the dream of becoming a model as a goal and worked towards it. at least, the models who's threads i read and who i always spot on the runway, they were mostly discovered. and really, if you are given a big break, a once in a lifetime shot like that? you would think that it would remind you to remain humble no matter how big you may get, because you should always remember that before someone randomly presented you with this amazing opportunity? you were just another plain jane, and you were probably no where near the level of those stylists/assistants/etc. that you are now treating like crap!
it's a shame that these girls, those who are mentioned as perhaps being complete snobs, allow all of it to rush to their heads when in any moment in time, another amazing model could come along and push them off their tracks and off of the runway for good. (not literally! i mean that figuratively speaking.)
It always seems sort of unfair to me that so many models nowadays will openly admit that modeling wasn't there dream and they are just doing it for the money and fell into it accidentally, when there are so many young girls who are all dying to be models and would give anything or the opportunity, and it seems so meaningless to some of them. But I guess that's the way that it is with everything, the people who are good at something aren't necessarily the people who are the most passionate.
karma for you, darling.

True, but how many of those girls truly look like they can make it in the industry today (America's Next Top Model anyone)
...Masha Novoselva and Maryna Linchuk are both great girls...sweet and down to earth![]()

You see I like someone like Lily or Stam much more after hearing all these bitchy stories .![]()
for some reason, me too....You can say that about any career....It always seems sort of unfair to me that so many models nowadays will openly admit that modeling wasn't there dream and they are just doing it for the money and fell into it accidentally, when there are so many young girls who are all dying to be models and would give anything or the opportunity, and it seems so meaningless to some of them. Miesel though, but it's just the way the cookie crumbles

at you. You wont be taken seriously and they'll say "oh boyyy..." because anything else is considered naive. When people dream of becoming models they only dream about what they see and the glamorous lives they envision. For the models who did in fact dream of being models before hand, reality definitely slaps them in the face that it's nothing like what they had previously imagined it to be like. In reality, the only truly glamorous part of modeling is in fact the money. So then, what's unfair about modeling for the money? In case this interests anyone Nick Snider posted a few new videos

Oh no. She didn't.Well, I never dreamed of being a model, I just fell into it, and my driving force is in fact the money but it doesn't mean we're not passionate about what we do. It's not just a full time job, you have to invest your entire present life into it in order to make something of it. There's a gargantuan amount of dedication that goes into it as a lifestyle that most people on the outside looking in don't register when they only see the pictures and interviews. Such dedication does require an enormous and constant amount of passion even if it's not for fame or the sake of making art.
In the industry if you're asked "why did you become a model" (by someone who isn't a reporter) and you answer for any reason besides money, people will just ...at you.
