Model Behavior (PLEASE READ POST #1 BEFORE POSTING)

Maybe she only gets those attitude problems once a month and they just happened to be working with her on other days?

Yeah, I mean everybody has bad days. We aren't all perfect angels at work/school everyday.

Plus, imagine how stressed models could be. Little sleep, food, lots of travel, away from friends/family, so of course they are bound to have some bad, angry days! But Candice doesn't come across as a b*tch to me at all. If anything, it's just uncomfortable.

My first impression of Behati happened when I asked if I could get a photo, when she wasn't in a good mood.

The only times I got see Candice was in features and interviews with Miranda Kerr and in those, Miranda was just too busy to do all the talking leaving Candice look shy and a little unprofessional, on purpose, there's no question. I'm sure Candice will get her moment to shine, I don't think there's any bad attitude to her, just some bad experience with other models.

I'm going to vote that having a real job is far more stressful. for models there's a lot of fast-paced business and travelling and such, but it also comes with having a ton of fun and a huge paycheck.

not that models have to be nice all the time and don't deserve to have a little attitude from time to time, we all do.

I just hate it when people act like what they're doing is somehow more difficult than working at a grocery store or in retail or at an office or whatever from 9-5, with real worries about bills and kids and et cetera.

^I think you have no clue what you're talking about.

so... a victoria's secret fashion show and photoshoots and going to product launches is are more stressful activities than working 9-5, five days a week like the rest of us? and that gives these girls license to have attitude?

everybody gets annoyed, which is why I'd give alessandra or whoever a break.

but please, don't blame it on the "stress" of their "work" as if it's MORE stressful than working every day living paycheck-to-paycheck like most.

Just because a job is fun and pays well does not mean that it is not is a real job or that it cannot also come with stress. And yes, while working in a grocery store is an honorable thing, being the representative (or one of the representatives) for a multi-million dollar product launch is more stressful than making sure that aisle six is kept stocked with canned peas. Now perhaps it is not more stressful than being an ER nurse, a soldier in Afghanistan or an air traffic controller at LaGuardia but it is more stressful than the average nine-to-five job. No I am not boo-hooing too hard over them because models at this level are well compensated, but I think that the main point that the original poster was making was that "everybody has bad days, [and we] aren't all perfect angels at work/school everyday" and you presumably you agree based on your comment, "not that models have to be nice all the time and don't deserve to have a little attitude from time to time, we all do."

I think that's it. I hear "oh poor celebrities, oh poor models!" but as you said, they're compensated in millions to represent the company so it just doesn't move me as much. it's just hard to be sympathetic to someone who's snappy on a job where they're being paid millions.

and to be fair, by all other accounts that VS model is very pleasant. it was more of a generalization. I mean, didn't we all read that post about supermodels?

Good posts 99 Apples:flower:

I understand the point that you are trying to make.

Not all models are paid millions of dollars! Those girls that aren't contracted by Victoria's Secret have to work very hard for a living. Modeling pays terribly (with the exception of contracts).

i wouldnt call either one more stressful because having a regular job can be just as stressful as an established models job...its not easy or fun at all especially for new girls who are in debt...models dont get their own money until they pay off debts so they are basically working for free each time...at least you are getting a salary some of these girls never get to see the good side.

Yes. It is more stressful than you can imagine, obviously. The amount of work going into getting a VS contract is insane. Keeping it = more work. I guess you're not the most empathetic (or sympathetic :innocent:) of posters at tFS ;)

it's amazing how worked up people get about celebrities they love. the internet is such a crazy place...

but it least it made me picture Alessandra ambrioso working on a loading dock in tj

yea i love candice, i wonder where these attitude problems came from?

How can anyone say for sure if we dont know Candice personally ?

I wouldnt buy the stuff that some Adriana fans try to spread about Candice. :flower: The fact is, they did so with other models (Heidi, Ale to name a few) who were also getting VS popular and outshining Adriana and getting more and more fans and fame. :innocent:

Moreso why would Russel James and other people lie saying they enjoyed working with Candice ?

And yeah, there are always bad days in model's life too.
