I saw a backstage photo of LilyD and Naomi a few days ago and I thought to myself "So Naomi is nice to Lily?". I don't know, maybe she's nice to more established models.

I can, I've always thought there was a side to Kate that would display this kind of behaviour......at the same time Morgan is such a smug, insufferable twat, that he probably deserves a good kicking.

Remember that discussion we had about Gisele applying her own makeup, which to some made her a diva? seems like she´s not the only model out there who´d rather apply her own makeup...

i don't think that discussion really started about her applying the makeup or not, it was more about her reasons to do it and not wanting to have the same style of the rest of the models..

and it wasn't just a random opinion, they were things i saw on two style.com blog posts where were phrases like "Mrs. Tom Brady was less accommodating with the makeup" and "Tom Pecheux had a distressed Gisele Bündchen in his chair".

Kate Upton Bullied By Other Sports Illustrated Models

Rival models already have the knives out for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover beauty Kate Upton. There was a frosty atmosphere during a launch event last month in front of Caesars Palace in Vegas for this year’s issue.

Sources said when the 18 SI models, including Izabel Goulart, Irina Shayk, Chrissy Teigen, Anne V., Genevieve Morton and Julie Henderson lined up for a photo, Upton, standing on one side, was asked to move to the middle of the group by a producer.

Upton, at first, was hesitant but moved after further prompting. But some of the ladies at the shoot weren’t pleased at making space — an onlooker said one model rolled her eyes while another mumbled under her breath.

When Upton asked what she said, the model snapped, “Don’t worry about me, honey, cause I’m not worrying about you!” A rep for Upton didn’t get back to us.

An SI rep said, “If there were words exchanged, it’s news to me. Kate was elegant and a complete force of spirit throughout the launch.”

IDK what to think of Kate Upton. On one hand, I don't think she deserved all the backlash she got for being on the cover. On the other hand, if she has a cocky attitude, then I can see why the girls don't like her. It's either a jealousy problem or a Kate problem. I'm going to assume it's jealousy.

If it's a jealousy issue then they should've got mad with Irina Shayk last year too if that's the case. I seriously think it's a Kate issue.

I really just think it's jealousy...along with the cover, Kate was all over the news (Yahoo for example) being dubbed the next Marilyn or Anna Nicole Smith and was/is starting to be picked up by the fashion side of the industry too. (V, muse,etc). she seems to be getting more attention than previous SI girls which may be the reason for the bullying ? Just imo

No matter what I think of Kate and her cover, Imo it is very catty to act so condescendingly towards her. All the other girls are seasoned models, and therefore you would expect professional behaviour at least in public. But I can see they are annoyed by this 19 yo youtube-darling snabbing the cover and all the attention. Maybe each of them felt that anyone of them would have deserved it more. But to be honest, you would think models of that level know already that modeling is rarely about deserving and loyality.

And maybe this rumour is just assumptions and exaggerating.
