I guess Taryn might repeat her Calvin exclusive. But that makes three already (Toni, Ali, Taryn)... and surely they'll save a few exclusive spots for brand new girls. Perhaps she's just being managed very carefully? We shall see soon.No sign of Taryn Davidson either yet. Same with several Prada exclusives from last season (Alana Kuznetsova, Cate Chant, Franziska Drude, Lovisa Ingman). I'm not sure which of them are actually in NYC, but they all had showcards.
Add in the fact that Han is doing really well and Eugenia is doing decently so far and I hope we are on to something big. While I would prefer Ajuma to Jourdan (sad that Ajuma didn't even get a card), it's still nice to see this great diversity. For instance, the diversity definetly seems to be kicking in. Girls like Jourdan Dunn and Yordanos Telhager seem to be doing great. And the sudden success of Pei Bei doesn't seize to amaze me...honestly I thought that her moment was over after her lack of real success after her Dior gig...
But these shows, to me, don't carry as much weight as booking the top of the line blue-chip a-list shows later this week and then into Milan and Paris.
am agree totally with you, from Rag & Bone on Friday, today except Jessica Stam, Lily D, Trentini the rest tops haven't showed up so from tomorrow (10 AM Carolina Herrera) we can say who hit and who miss..... IMOTaryn might've arrived late.
I mean being everywhere, but being everywhere for the big shows? The first weekend is always a lot of small, but all right shows, so it'll be fascinating to see who is doing what vis-a-vis Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs, Carolina Herrera: the big heavy hitters of New York. I'd imagine we'll see more Taryn there and less Abbey Lee. Just my opinion, of course!
