oh my god I've been thinking Miuccia would bring Gemma back since spring 2013 (when IMG Australia posted about signing her and talk of a comeback) and lo and behold it happens. At first I was surprised by her face and thought "no that can't be her" holy crap I'm so happy!

This!! I checked instagram and almost couldn't believe that Lara was there, so when I read that Gemma opened, oh.my.god I almost fall from my couch. I just can't believe it

I find it interesting that people are lauding the return of Gemma Ward when she paved the way for much loathed models like Molly Bair, who's been subject of some needlessly cruel comments.

They may not find Gemma Ward unappealing, but I think her transcendence brought about changes in what is desired and expected of a model physically which many people do find unappealing.

This was the best day of casts so far. Gemma opening Prada was obviously the best casting choice of the century, but Dsquared2, Ports 1961 & Moschino were well casted, too. Fendi was a bit of a mess & so was Max Mara.
